I met Sergeant Major Gilmore in Hawaii while he was the director for the Schofield Barracks Gospel choir. He and his wife Donna supported me as I ministered there often he brought the choir wherever I preached in an effort to be a blessing to the people I ministered to but more so to be an encouragement to me. He was known for his smile that shown with the love of God everywhere he went. Brother Cornell Gilmore was by no means a Sunday Christian. His love for God, his family, and his fellow man exemplified his Christian character and was clearly evident in his life. I am not certain who started this page but may God bless you as he has blessed us to have known this great man of God Command Sergeant Major Cornell W. Gilmore.
