It took all this time for Ramos and his crew to figure this out? I mean this pac funding issue was talked about numerous times in the paper and long before these charges were filed.

Or was Ramos and his buddy Jerry Brown waiting to file charges all these months and I would say a few years now to grab some headline news for their upcoming elections?

Ramos and Brown, "like peas and carrots".

Postmus and Erwin may not be angels, but Ramos is not wearing a halo either. Womanizing, trips to Sacramento to see his sweety on our dime, form 700 issues.

When the papers asked Ramos to show his expenses on his Sacramento trips he refused. Denied any womanizing and he has as many girlfriends as Tiger Woods.

Hard to swallow being prosecuted by someone who lacks integrity himself and has lied to the public.

Interesting how the Sun has written dozens of articles on Postmus and Erwin and the others, almost none on Ramos, why is that?

Get the money back, Governor Brown and Mr. Ramos. I hate Republicans because they steal the money for themselves and friends; I hate Democrats because they give money away to welfare leeches. The Middle-Class needs its own party.

What a crock of dung! Since the gavel has tapped once, the dung has splattered, and those whom the splatter hits, are all going too play the denial game.

PACS are the ruination of our free politics.

Anyone paying attention to the controversial Supreme Court Decision allowing foreign countries the ability to invest in our political campaigns?

Maybe its the $102 million in tax dollars that went to subsidize a private business deal.

This is ET Snell's post and my option of what happened. Please do not remove this time as the people have a right to know my observation and opion it's only right.

When they sent Ruth Stringer out of the room she did what every good red blooded American lawyer would do, Manipulate the law to there own best interest an benefit.

I believe she asked them to send her out of the room because she would not be able to stand state prison. I also believe Ruthless Ruth Stringer knew what terrible things that the Guards and inmates do to others in prison and besides She is not like Postmus and does not swing that way.

Taxpayers must understand that there would of been no body to Fight people like Attorney Margie Musser Mikels who years ago filed suit against the county and colonies partners to get the $102 mil back and almost got the money back but her case was thrown out on a technical issue.
Ruth Stringer took the boyz as far as she possibly could legally but she had to protect herself. I hope you all forgive Ruth Stringer.

From what I remember the county made a mistake estimating the flood control and Burham argued it cost him $300 million and an arbritration judge agreed. The county appealed and lost so Biane and Postmus settled for $100m along with Ovitt's vote.

Don't get me wrong, I think all involved are scum (even Ramos) and I don't really care about PACs but they're part of politic contributions nation wide.

Sleazy sleazy republicans. This is not just a county issue, we need to look at the slime ballS at the federal level: Mark foley(Sending sexually laced, gramatically challenged instant messages and e-mails to teenaged boys in the Congressional page program for more than 10 years), Larry Craig( Soliciting sex from an undercover cop in an airport bathroom),Bob Allen (Offering an undercover cop $20 to allow Allen to blow him in a men’s room in a public park. After being arrested, Allen tried to explain that he only offered to blow the cop because the cop was a “burly black man” and he “didn’t want to become a statistic.”, Glenn Murphy Jr.

The Crime: Murphy got a fellow Young Republican drunk and then spent the night at his house. The other young man woke up in the middle of the night to find Murphy giving him mouth-to-penis resuscitation. After this incident, a 1998 sexual battery report came to light in which Murphy was alleged to have done the exact same thing, don't forget this guy Ted Haggard Leader of the National Association of Evangelicals(November 2006)
The Crime: Paying male prostitutes for sex and snorting crystal meth.

Because this is political corruption that involves theft of great deal ($102.0 million) of tax-money that we all worked hard for? Are you really confused on the difference between some rumors of impropriety of Ramos and a real indictment. Drop the morality crap and see that you and I have been stolen from by the tune of about $50 per SB County resident. I can afford the 50 bucks for a government purpose, but I will not stand for it being given away to a group of greedy developers.

I said all along, look at the political cover these crooks provide each other. The inland republican politicians provide good jobs to their proteges like Matt Brown. His alegiance was cultivated by Jim Brulte, inland political chess master, the man behind the curtain he doesn't want pulled open.

And by the way he was also imployed by the County of San Bernardino while performing his political action efforts for the party. Get the money out of politics, obviously one job wasn't enough income.

Jobs Jobs everywhere

$102 rip off and $100 Billion in progress
we are he solar and wind capital of the world we are a charter county and can do what we want. County can mfg solar and wind machines in SB County and feed calif power while giving Billions in jobs to county redidents (Legals Only need apply) anyone applying for a permit for solar and wind will recieve what ever we want to give them we can think only of this counties for once.

The SB County Sentinel news 911 Alert Dated 02/11/10

The county tightens restrictions on solar and wind.

Nobody seems to think anymore. why we are absorbed with Pilly boy Postmus and his gay theratics we are missing the big rip off by 3 board members Josie Gonzales decended and Biane wasn't there to vote as usual.

Jerry Brown made me think of it when he said that if a board member has vested interest that his vote is not any good and can be overturned. Derry use to work for EDISON and has a open door policy to return. Schwarzenegger pasted recent legislation that gives users many benefits and ices EDISON.

WOW is right. Ramos is getting a free ride. His failure to list his wife as a paid campaign employee, and his subsequent minimal fine by the regulatory board, is fairly similar to one of the felonies Jim Erwin is being charged with. Postmus, Erwin, Wrecks, and the rest deserve prison time if they are convicted, but lets not thrown these crooks under the train and ignore the other crooks.

They need to look into the little business deal between the county and Burum purchasing foreclosed homes with tax payer money...and all of the so called "non Profit and low cost housing" They need to keep following the money.

And what kind of idiot lets his name be put on something he knows nothing about, and then he expects people to believe that...biggest BS I have ever heard

Many of us already knew this about PACs...getting the proof to actually get someone to move on it was the hard part. They are extremely difficult to track who is behind them. And they always use "feel Good" names to make them sound appealing to the voters when their names appear on the political "hit pieces". The voter see a name associated with what they think might be an honest watch dog group and the buy into it hook line and sinker. People need to do more homework and not just accept what is written in some political hack job flyer they get in their mail.

These PACs are no different then the Lewis Homes PAC's. One needs to follow the money. Burum gave money to other PAC's who turned around and gave to Ramos. These developers are one big happy family of funding politicians in the county. Ramos is trying to go after little fish hoping to get elected to Congress. Good Luck. He might have gotten somewhere if he had better lawyers on his staff and did not sleep with all those women.
