Obviously the girl is completely innocent of everything and had nothing to do with being with them. And her parents must be commended for raising such a sweet and wonderful girl.

I just hope the family gets the child into a program or some sort of counceling so that she can help herself and get some self esteem. Thank God the child is safe.

Children of thirteen aren't renowned for their judgment; adults, on the other hand, are rightly expected to know better and to control themselves.

These foolish foolish young girls. She may be thought of as a "child" at 13, but she should definitely be smart enough to know better. She is probably lucky to be alive.

It's the same old cycle with sex offenders. They commit crimes on an innocent children, get locked up, get released early and commit crimes on innocent children. When is this madness going to end?

She's lucky not to have been held captive for 18 years in the guy's back yard.

What is the connecting device here between the child and the child molester??? I believe the news media stated that she (the victim) contacted or was contacted by the supects via her computer.
Is not the key word here "COMPUTER". Leaving an unsupervised child on a computer is just asking for trouble, and trouble is what they got. This time the child was spared the "DEATH" penalty.
Wake-up parents, we are living in a whole new dangerous world for the kiddys. An unsupervised child on a computer is a tragedy in the making!

This is the whole reason I have my daughter's passwords to EVERYTHING and moniter what she is doing online constatntly. It is one of the conditions to her being able to go online. Creepies are out there. They might even pass themselves off as someone the kid's own age. Never EVER meet up with someone you have only met online

Stupid kids and dumb parents.Monitoring your childrens activities on the internet would have prevented this from happening. This sleaveball sex offender should never be released back into society. We need touger laws so that a convicted sex offender has no chance to repeat a second offense.

I agree. What is wrong with a teenage girl that would EVEN think about chatting with men that age? Ignorant? Self-loathing?

Why would she willingly go back and forth between these two men? She needs some serious help and so does her family.

How do we know she wasn't passing her self off as an older women?? Obviously these guys are suspect, but truthfully for her to be safe will probably work in the defense of the predators... I can hear the defense now... "she passed herself off as a women of age and once I saw her in person and realized it was a kid I walked away...
