A man is dead and two people are under arrest after a carjacking at a North County gas station that led to a pursuit, authorities said.

Fallbrook has been getting steadily worse over the years. Between the herion addicts, tweekers and illegals this town has gone to hell in a handbasket and yet everyone here including the sheriffs like to pretend that this is still paradise (the friendly village). For a long time now I have tried to go into town as little as possible doing my shopping and banking in other cities because of the creepiness of the downtown area. Time to get your heads out of the sand...this is no longer the friendly village! Thankfully, I will be moving to No Cal soon after living in Fallbrook for over 40 years...just can't take it any more! It breaks my heart to see what's happened here...Things need to change and quick!

I see no mention of a "Carjacking" in the artical. Is this Travis Hopkins a Fallbrook resident? This is very upsetting for a small communtity such as ours. We do have our problems here and they have been getting more and more serious recently. My concern is; Is this a Fallbrook problem or a problem that happened in Fallbrook. I dont want to give up on this community but I share concerns all residents here have. Its time to take charge.
