Upland man shot to death

A young man died on Saturday after being shot outside of his apartment. Daniel Gonzalez, 19, was shot shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Diamond Court near Vallejo Way.

He was a good guy to me and my sister as well witch would be irene im sure if u new Daniel then u would no my sister but i remember when i 1st met him he was so nice to me we were at the movies and i was there with my sister he was nicer to me then my own brother was to me.The only thing i remember that was that i was so little like in kindergaurden and he was a freshmen like i am now and i was standing next to him and he held my hand like i was his own little sister.That will be 1 moment i will never 4 get.So R.I.P Daniel Gonzalez

He died for what? What was the reason? Respected by who? His "homies"? How can anyone give a crap about a gangbaning loser like this. Had he died because he tried to save someone, or he was a respectable citizen, that would be different. God can only judge, i really do doubt he was victim of circumstance. He probly pissed sombody off, id do investigating on finding a motive for his assault. a round does not have any names but if it's intended, than its murder. and it was intened for him. he lived and died by the life style that lead him.
