Hang em.
Why is it our liberty is defined by their actions? Why is it that we cannot walk down the street? Why is it that a young girl was shot and killed?

Why have the liberals taken the power away from the police and penal system?

Find them and hang them at City Hall. Send a message.

That would be....well....so 'insensitive'......

But I'm right there with you, PC!!

They should bring back public hanging.

Start with our elected 'officials' that permit this kind of thing...

Her being a "gangster", does not make Cassandra Jacobo a bad girl, her being in trouble with the police does not make her a bad girl. The actions she took her short life where bad, her decisions were bad. Me and girlfriend went and put flowers and a candle last night where she was shot. I donít know her personally, but I have seen her and her mom at food 4 less and around the city. It is a shame that someone so young was taken from this earth. I pray for the Jacobo family and hope they catch the thugs who did this to her. No matter what kind of life Cassandra lived, she did not deserve to die in this manner.

This is what you need to understand. The decisions that you make, no matter how early in life, come back to you. I am a law-abiding citizen, but I have known people in my life that have done bad things. Some of those people truly turned their lives around;however, years later they would become victims of the same kind of pain that they inflicted. Doesn't matter if ONE gang member decided to get out of that life. The problem is rival gang members don't forget the bad stuff, and they are certainly not thinking about how you have changed your life since they last saw you. The only thing they remember is your face. So in sum, she did bring on her own demise. Everything comes back in full circle sooner or later. Remember that.

It breaks my heart to see all this blood shed... FOR WHAT??? I can't understand why a life must be taken. What breaks my heart even more is that my family and I still live in this once prestigious city. Last night, my 13-year old daughter and I were on our way to Winco. As we made a left-hand turn onto Rio Rancho Rd from Garey, we saw a crowd of people. And in the middle of that crowd laid a body in a pool of blood. I don't know who this person was or whether or not this person even survived his wounds (from gunshots heard earlier). All I can say is that my daughter and I said a short prayer for him and left it in Gods hands. Seeing that body lay there is something I wish my daughter would have NEVER seen.
Now, born and raised in Pomona, I am proud to say that I am a successful woman with a degree to back my talk. And who do I have to thank for that? My parents. My parents gave me the strict curfews. They new who I was with at all times and made damn sure I wasn't hanging out with the wrong crowd. As much as I hated that when I was growing up, I thank them for it everyday of my life.
Maybe it's not so much that these kids make the wrong decision. Maybe it's the parents who are absent in these kids lives and who are not there to help them make the right decision. I'm just sayin'.....

My heart goes out to the Jacobo family. No parent should have to experience the death of their child.

And as for the person we saw laying on the sidewalk last night. I hope he made it. But, sadly, if he didn't, something tells me society wouldn't have benefited from him.

Surely, she didn't deserve to die that way, but it's ridiculous to conclude that an individual belonging to a gand and that rebels agains the law is a "good" person. Let's be real and take responsibility for our actions. She was young, but still old enough to know she was engaging in bad behavior. Gangsters are willing to take another's life and yet she chose to be part of that life style...why? Because she was a BAD person!
