It's common sense that she ran a red light, I've done it, we all have. Ppl make mistakes I understand that.. unfortunately she has to live her whole life regretting this one.
I have a picture of the accident.. of the motorcycle AND car still smashed in the middle of the intersection.. yes she made a LEFT TURN.. witnesses say she was on the phone. Unless you were there, or heard what happened from someone who WAS there I suggest you keep your negative "theories" to yourself. I've only said what I have heard from people who KNOW what happened.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE ASSUMING WE DON'T ALREADY HAVE PAGES FOR TIM.. WE DO. WE ARE MOURNING HIM. LOL STOP TELLING US TO MAKE A PAGE. IT'S BEEN DONE. I don't mean to offend anyone. If I have I apologize, but please don't talk **** and throw out stupid **** assumptions about my friend who isn't here to defend himself. That's just straight disrespectful. Thanks.
I absolutely agree Close Friend, and pray that you and Tims family and met with peace during this time.

I am sure everyone on this PUBLIC forum understands you are in mourning over your dear friend, but..... On the PUBLIC forum page? Come on! This forum was created for all different type of opinions/comments regarding the headline.
If you choose this to be the memorial page for your friend and or loved one, then you are subjecting yourself to what you feel are hurtful and disrespectful comments.
It is so baffling that every time there is a tragedy, friend and family, gets on the PUBLIC forum and asks for respect. You have a right to your opinion/comment in regards to this headline, just as well as we do!
CREATE A MEMORIAL PAGE FOR THIS YOUNG MAN!
Well said!! I can't figure out why people that are in mourning are on here reading the comments and complaining to everyone that has something to say. If a family member of mine dies this is the last place I will be!

If Tim's who i think he is he made the best Cherry Limeades. Unless it was rollerskates who cares what shoes he was wearing? Was he clocked out or could this be seen as a work-related fatality?

agree she should have not been on her phone and i think she should get some kind of punishment for being on her phone i think its bs they are calling it a freak accident and she was the one that needed to yield not him she was the one turning and because she was on her phone she was not paying attention and she thought she missed the light so she gunned threw it and thats when they hit its very sad that people are fighting over who is right or wrong but everyone has there thoughts and if you really knew tim like we all did then maybe you would agree she was in the wrong and should be charged and i hope she regrets this every day of her life because she was breaking the law no matter how you look at it if they had the accident or not she was breaking the law i wish there was a cop that would have busted her for being on her phone before she had got to the light then this would have never happened and we all would have never lost a great friend

First off if a cell phone was involved She would be in jail, that's the first thing they check in accidents now-a-days (DUH!)... Second, everyone should feel for the family of the departed but the Victim here is the on He crashed into. She was in an accident and survived, and now must deal with the fate of the motorcyclist whom she did no wrong. She doesn't deserve to have a bunch of children posting non-sense on a webboard because the morons at the Paper put her name in it.

Lastly, and most importantly posting on the internet can be deemed Libel, again Kids look it up.

LOL....ya if i knew Tim than I would HAVE to agree that it was the other driver' fault. Great theory Einstein. I dont know either party but based upon what I have read I can draw my own conclusions thank you. Its shameful that Tim's friends feel the need to attack the other driver.

The intersection at Church and Milliken has a dedicated left turn arrow. So long as the car crossed the limit line while the light was still yellow it was the opposing traffic (The decedent included) that needed to yield the right of way. It has been reported that the motorcyclist entered the intersection on green, passing stopped cars to do so, but that in no way implies that the car making a left turn ran the red light. Unless the car did in fact run the red light, which is unknowable from the reported facts, then the motorcyclist is solely responsible for his own death. He was irresponsible to split the lanes and enter the intersection at a high rate of speed with limited visibility. His friends need to learn from his fatal error and stop trying to make excuses and blame the driver of the car. Lane splitting is a legal but stupid maneuver and endangers everybody including pedestrians in crosswalks.

Sorry, but apparently you don't understand the rules of the road. The fact that he had a green light doesn't mean that she ran a red light. A person can enter the intersection while the light is green and be waiting until they can make thier left turn. If oncoming traffic keeps them from making their turn, they must wait until the light turns red to make their turn and exit the intersection. The cars (and motorcycles) that now have the green light must wait until all cars have exited the intersection before proceeding through. It seems apparent that he did not see her in the intersection and didn't yield the right of way to her and went through anyway. Yes, he apparently didn't see her in the intersection just as many car drivers often don't see motorcyclist. But like it or not, that makes the accident his fault. Because someone who was in the intersection as she was, must exit the intersection against the red light. And according to the law, exiting an intersection against a red light is legal, not illegal and is not considered running a red light. It was legal for her to complete her turn against a red light. But it was illegal for him to proceed through on the green before she had exited the intersection. That's the law.

To be honest, I have no remorse towards the woman or her family as she is being charged with 4 different things right now that I will not mention, because unlike most of the people on this blog I do care about others feelings.
she was never charged with anything and never was from the start just because u saw the accident doesnt mean u know the charges or what really happened unles u were in the car or on the back of his bike
