Another Left Turn Victim that got only one chance. Being a Rider myself, there are two things about Motorcycle Crashes or Laying down a Bike, that applies to ALL BIKERS! The Ones that have done it, and the Ones that will do it in the future! Ride Safe!!!

Poor guy didn't see it coming. Those left turn red light or yellow light runners are notorius also on Foothill blvd. You may have the green light to go but traffic is still turning in front of you. Maybe the lights needs to be adjusted better to give more time in between cycles.
Anyway a rule of thought for me has always been to remember "Just because the light is green doesn't mean you can go".

Regardless of whether the light just changed if the person turning left entered the intersection on a green they still have the right of way to complete their turn. Sounds like this kid was either splitting lanes at an unsafe speed or he approached the intersection and wasn't paying attention to traffic.

Never assume they are going to stop for you.

at 19 he was surely still learning the many unwritten rules of the road. Using a motorcycle as your means of transportation at this age is.....well...a tragic mistake. RIP.

I went to school with Tim and me and him were really good friends...To all you people who dont know him and dont know the whole story get your facts straight before you start accusing him. Secondly that B*^$&# Vanessa was on her phone not paying attention and made that turn when she wasnt suppose to. So why dont you all accuse her!!! Yea see what the news doesnt tell you and all of you believe it.

People please show tact and respect for Tims family. It is not for you to question whether or not what he did was correct or safe. The last thing his family wants to hear after their loss is what Tim "should have or could have" done. Keep YOUR eyes on the road and watch were YOU ARE going!!!!

If that's true,. that's terrib;e! Wonder why he was driving crazy in Upland and Rancho, was he also doing this in his own city? Just wondering. Again, please people, the streets are not a racetrack!

How do you know she was on the phone? Where you in the car with her or where you at the intersection at that time? If it's true, then hopefully there were witnesses who saw it. Doesn't sound like people are 'accusing' him of anything, just commenting.

Joey Lyn it appears that alot of people are being judgemental and inconsiderate to the fact that the people mourning Tim are reading these posts. I'm sorry Joey Lyn but at this jucture we should be praying for his family to be at peace and not dwell on what he could have done differently. My question to you is, were you there? His co-workers were if that makes you feel any better.

I never go into in intersection with out knowing whats going on. I also use cars as blockers. I will ride right next to a car and enter an intersection because people see cars. Cars are great for this reason. Other than that I avoid them.

You cut me off after you saw me and I will hunt you down and kick your a $$. I view it as attempted murder.

Guess little Timmy should have been watching out, instead of lane splitting and driving like an Ahole. If that Tweet is true, Karma! Better him than some innocent person when he tried to eun again.

I would just like to say I'm sorry for the denzlers lost and wish them peace... but please don't accuse anyone of it being there fault... they were both at fault and thats y they r called accidents... and calling people names is disrespectful... so unless u were there or heard the story from people that saw it ur being rude and its uncalled for....

Karma, if for some unfortunate reason your family has to bury you deal and with a tragedy, I hope they are met with peace offerings and not the foolishness you put out there. We all make mistakes, because to err is human. But Karma being the [email protected]#$% it is, someone will say better you than some sympathetic person!
