Much respect to the home owner, that was able to get 2 of them defending his house & his wife. To all you people who have opinions on this tragedy, remember that we have love ones that we love unconditionaly and that the people who judge these families should also realize that not everyone is who they portray themselves to be are honest. So when we start calling people stupid or they deserve what they got It could be someone from your family. We should pray for both sides of these families to give them peace and closure and god to bless the families they left behind!!!!!

Well, I'm sorry if I'm not compassionate for dirt bags who die while living a life of crime. It's the risk you take when you sign up to use dope or be a dope dealer. The sad thing is that this guy's kids and neighborhood had to deal with scum bag killers and dopers because of him and his inability to live a normal, drug-free life. I don't feel so bad for his wife because she had the choice to leave him, but didn't. Instead, she chose to expose herself and her child to this kind of violence. If you feel so bad about it, move the widow and her kid into your house. Then the bad guys can go to your house and look for the 15 kilos of dope that are missing. Wake up people and don't be so naive.

First off don't be so judging!! Are you saying you haven't done anything you weren't supposed to do?? I'm sure if we look in anyones closet, we'll find some baggage!! Nobody lives a perfect life, we all have things we hide. To say, just because a guy had a Meth problem at one time (who knows how long ago), that translates in to him being a coked dealer with $100k in his house, that a little extreme! So does that mean that everyone that has done drugs at one point in there life, make them open to the lifestyle? That's kind of idiotic if you as me.
I hear what you're saying, BUT based on what you're saying how would the wife be able to move $100K & 60kilos of Coke?? She was in the bathroom and when it was quiet got the hell out of there. Based on the fact that the one they caught basically ran in to the cops on the way out of the house, tells me the cops where already on there way. From what my neighbor told me, the cops were called before the shooting even started, because another neighbor saw these guys outside lingering around the nehigborhood. That doesn't give that much time for a female to move drugs & money (and where did she move them to?). I'm not sure how much 60kilos of coke is, but I would imagine it would take a couple of trips to a car or whatever, to get the stuff out of the house. Not to mention getting the money out of the house. All while having to worry about other people still being in the house, the shock of what just happened and the cops outside.
So she was that careful not to leave any evidence of that stuff behind on a limited time schedule. I'm sorry, but I don't care how careful you are, in that scenario you are bound to leave something behind and the cops found nothing & from what I hear they tore that house apart looking for stuff. You're right it doesn't mean that the stuff wasn't there at some point, but it also doesn't mean that there wasn't anything there to begin with and that these guys got the wrong house. They aren't some of the sharpest tools in the shed, if they actually thought they could go in to a house (a drug dealers house supposedly with that much money and drugs) and it not become violent?? Stuff just doesn't add up to me. I mean damn if I was a drug dealer and had that much stuff in my house, I think I would protect it with something other than a handgun. This guy was vastly outnumbered with fire power and men. If it was you, don't you think you would have a little more help making sure that stuff is protected?
I think you need to stop watching the cop shows you've been watching and reserve judgement until all the information comes out. So far all we know is that these gang bangers went in to a house and nothing they were looking for was there. The homeowner was protecting his house and his wife. Until any other information comes out, I think that's all we can do.
I just hope they catch the other 2 guys and soon!!

I had commented on this story lastnight but i see that i didnt follow the posting directions correctly. But I just want to make my point bout the homeowner robert ramirez . So all we pretty much know is that it was these 4 guys went into his house with guns and bullet-proof jackets , quickly took out the home improvement guy , then from there is when all hell broke loose . Its now 4 vs. 1 ...robert kills 1 , shoots another 1 in the face , neck , shoulder , and hip and still got another hit on a third robber before he gets taken out ? That is the most heroic story i have ever heard because in the end , he saved his wife's life and the home maintenace guys life also . Had their master-plan unraveled exactly how they drew it up on the nightclub table in the dark ...what was gonna happen to to Robert's wife and him or worker whenthe robbers could only manage to find 60 tylenol capsoles and 100 dollars but in a piggy bank ? Yah exactly .

Not even Gang Expert knows what tomorrow will bring...When you comment that you are not "sorry that dirt bags die while living a life a crime", I would like to remind you that the events there that happened have been devasting to all the families involved....even innocent people who go to work, who pay taxes, and choose to live by the law and be apart of a law abiding community are victims of violent crimes...These families have to learn to deal with losing a son, a husband, a father, and a friend...I hope you never have to deal with losing someone from a senseless crime...it's a journey that will be long and diffulcult for the family... for Robert Ramirez was here, he was loved, and he will be missed by a family who you have no idea have so much respect and love from the community that they come from...I can tell you from experience that when you lose some one that was murdered you still have to face the agony of grieving, of learning a new normal w/o the presence of your son, your husband, your father, your friend...that process is long enough so show a little compassion....What I have learned about losing someone who by the hands of a gangbanger w/a gun is even when the trial is over...it's not over...I have learned that even the murderes have family, and they too will experience loss...no one is spared in this tradegedy...it's a long journey of learning to accept and forgive even the unthinkable in order to go on living...I don't even judge you for what you say...I just would like to let you know that your words can be lik fire, they can spread like disease and there are so many here that are left hurting that you should think about showing a little compassion and respect, for even the dead, the Lord shows mercy
