I'll take Morally Bankrupt Politicians for 500.00 please.

A: He was caught running down his opponents campaign signs in a rented white pickup truck from L.A. and fled the scene,(after being identified by a witness - Kevin Hoyt), starting a high-speed chase through residential areas of northeast Rancho Cucamonga.

Q: Who is Wrecks Gutierrez?

Good answer.
Next category please.

I think Wrecks should thank the Daily Bulletin for such a nice, FREE advertisement for his veiled political campaign newspaper where he shakes community businesses down for advertising. Thanks Daily Bulletin!

Rex Gutierrez can be seen at the Rancho Senior Center distributing his newspaper/campaign literature. This newspaper is a thinly veiled political piece and should be required to have Rex's campaign identification number. Because that is the way he is using it. This man is a sneaky snake. I think the FPPC should investigate him.
Thank you too Daily Bulletin for letting us know about Rex's campaign piece, but those of us who frequent the Senior Center know about it already.
Old news...

I can remember about 12 years ago a man in town was putting antiREX political flyers on cars in a shopping center parking lot. Well Rex shows up and calls the Sheriff's office. A unit shows up and the would be instigator hands Rex all the papers and then told the Sheriff that "this man was putting all these papers on all the cars", then he leaves. He left Rex standing there with the papers in his hand trying to explain what "really" was going on. Most funny thing I've heard in a long long time. Way to go John

City Attorney Jim Markman said the city is keeping track of Gutierrez's advertisers and will refrain from doing business with them. If one of Gutierrez's advertisers should ever come up for a City Council vote, the councilman would have to abstain, Markman explained.

Read more:

It would appear to me if these businesses have licenses and operate within the city limits, then RC is already doing business with them...inescapable conundrum. That is why the FPPC came calling for Rex last time.

Mr Markman,
Please remember... your old legal opinion about the potential conflicts created by Gutierrez's first community newspaper stated that an abstention by Gutierrez would not cure the conflict. You stated any City Council vote on a contract with one of Gutierrez' advertisers would be a violation of California Government Code Section 1090.

Apart from all this political nonsense going on, the paper is kinda nice to read. I'ts a little different, heck, the Bulletin isn't up to par anyways.

Glad you are back with the little paper. Hope you will cover Upland with the distribution too.

Good community stuff and covering human interest articles.
