i honestly think they both are to blame people who do drugs are dumb in the first place to being doing it where there is an infant around the home .... that people who dont have brain i think they both should serve time and there are so many people who really want babies and cant have any that makes me really sad hearing stories like this.... it breaks my heart to hear how these lil angels die because their parents dont think right

It is horrible that people are allowed to procriate when in such dire situations. Her boyfriend is a 2-striker & drug addict??? Hello!!!!!!!! Get a clue lady, don't bring your child around him. And secondly, if he is threatening you to not contact authorities, you listen??!! Are you kidding me?? Your child has just been given meth & you refuse to seek help because you are fearful yourself?! How ignorant and utterly stupid! Your children always come first, you find a way. How about when he's passed out from all the drugs?? Run! They both deserve jail time.

This guy should have never been free to begin with! You don't get a strike for jaywalk or even commiting thefts...you only get strikes for violent felonies, shootings, stabbings, murders, armed robberies, etc. They should give some accountability to the parole board who let him out. He obviously did not serve much time for his other crimes that plagued our society...he's only 24 and already has two strikes!!! Put him away for good.
Obviously she is not so innocent if she is surrounding herself with scum. "But I didn't know he was a bad guy"....right, you met him at the prison as he sat next to your ex boyfriend. The tattoos all over his head and face did not give it away!!! "Yeah, I think he'd be great father material"...when he's not in jail.

How sad, young parents who didn't keep the drugs from the baby, and it sounds like beating the kid was a long term problem.
But, if the defendant's story is true, it sounds like the child died because of the war on drugs. Meth is not illegal by itself, what is illegal is a lack of paperwork. The US gives meth to people to help them drop bombs on other people.

Alls I gots to say is....WTF?!?!?!?!? Slapping the baby to get it to calm down from the meth? If anything that is going to make is worse by raising its anxiety and possible causing it to have a heart attack. He/they weren't trying to save the baby at all. Tweekers only care about themselves and their next fix. ANOTHER POOR, HELPLESS BABY LOST IT'S DUE TO STUPID DRUG ADDICTED PARENTS!!! So sad.

Most drug addicts don't read the newspaper. There are so many parents and single folks that would love to have a child. If they can't handle a child because of their problems, by all means, take them to the right place for adoption. Children need the opportunity for a good life and their are people willing to give them a good, loving life. Spread the word, get the children out to the right place and let someone else love and care for the children.

i know elizabeth from school, and its freaking shocking to see what happened with this whole situation. especially being her kids involved, it breaks my heart to know that that little baby had to go trought that whole experince. its schoking. just to think off that poor little baby suffering it breaks my heart. I would love to take away the pain from my kids when it comes to them not feeling good or just a simple little something. And know to think about that babybeing hit, broken bones , being tied up. Its the worst thing ever just even thinking about it.

I feel that both parties are guilty of this crime, if the mother knew about her boyfriends drug use, she should have been more careful with things around her home, besides what kind of mother puts a man before her own son's life. I feel that they both deserve life in prison, with out parole.
