Its unfortunet as to what happened to Jennifer, and I do send my regards to the families. However, there's risks for everything you do... I think this was a ridiculous contest and this was an accident that shouldnt have happened. It just goes to show that people will do crazy and stupid things for such silly prizes. Of course when you think about it, drinking water does seem pretty harmless... but you have to know the limits that your body can take. If you choose to ignore them...

This is a sad event that took place however it is the radiostations responsibility to check into things such as this before having the contest. Not only that but a nurse called in during the show and warned the djs ( the contestents couldn't hear this) that it can kill to drink that much water and the djs laughed it off making jokes. I for one would have stopped listening to the radiostation if those djs had not been fired for what was done. Because they couldn't listen someone is dead. My thoughts are with the family who have suffered a horrific lose. Yes your body does know limits but drinking that much water that fast your mind is elsewhere. I support the actions taken by the radio station.

My thoughts are also for the family. But this game is no different that eating hot dogs contest, or drinking beers to a betting games. No one pointing a gun to the head and said you have to do it. This is a person choice of will. So for this one, i also felt sorry the people that loose their jobs at the station being that they are trying to give a way the game set. Soon or later, there none contest exists, only the illegal ones which are more worse.
