Child Abuse Sanctioned by Ramsey High?

Child Abuse is ok according to Ramsey High School principal and district superintendent? You decide! A fight breaks out in a Ramsey High classroom. Actually, it was more of an unprovoked attack. The agressor stands over his seated victim, taunting him and enticing him to fight. The victim, still seated and with his hands in his pockets, repeatedly states, "I am not going to fight you." This goes on for more than 30 seconds. Where is the teacher during this? Watching, doing nothing. In fact, there are two adults in the room. One is a para-professional and the other is a substitute teacher.
Given the green light to continue by these Ramsey district employees, the agressor finally strikes his victim three times in the side of the head. The victim is enraged and stands up. Fellow students separate the two while the two adults watch. These students move the aggressor toward the door, but the substitute teacher tells the attacker to sit down. The victim is enraged that his attacker is not being brought to the office. The para-professional states, "I will flip a coin to decide whether or not he goes to the office." The victim yells, "Get him out of here." The substitute grabs the victim (yes, the victim) and pushes him 5 feet backwards and across the classroom. The victim trips over a garbage can and slams into the wall. The attacker is still seated in the classroom. When the assistant principal, showed up, he yelled at the victim and brought him to the office.
During the interim, a fellow student had secretly filmed a verbal exchange between the victim and the sub. The student had stated that the sub had wrongfully put his hands on him. The sub stated that he could easily say that the student had put his hands on him, the sub. When the assistant principal became aware of this, he attempted to retrieve the cellphone that had recorded the conversation. He even directed the mother of the student to delete the video from the cellphone.
The assistant principal ordered the destruction of evidence in an ongoing child abuse investigation. This is against the law and can lead to professional sanctions against any educator. Teachers and administrators are mandatory reporters. They must report all child abuse. Slamming a stationary child against a wall is child abuse and Ramsey School District permitted it to happen. The sub was kept on as a district employee. This decision was made by the district superintendent.
Ramsey, your district is a sham. Your administrators are ill prepared to lead your community into the 21st century. Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Much more is coming!
