A few years back a friend had taken me to this huge house in the Ramsey area that had a million Christmas Lights all over the place...house & huge fenced yard. Around this time of the year you can usually see a line of cars just driving by the place...does anybody have any idea where this is...i can never find my way back there!! I actually beleive the guy that owned the house was an elvis impersonator..lol..any help would be greatly appreciated

It is Victoria Lane. If you are coming from Pulis Avenue and turing right onto Campgaw it is the first left. I think the lights go on about the 15th of December.

Sorry....Elvis has left the neighborhood. The house was sold last month. The owners are in the process of packing....the only thing lit up is the "Under Contract" sign. No more lights.:(

Wonder if his new neighbors know what their in for?

Hello! I work with children and wanted to take one to view the x-mas lights in Mahwah. Are you sure that the house was sold as I have seen numerous trips posted online to visit this house. I live about an hour away and want to avoid a wasted trip. Thanks for any info.

Yup, same as tonight. The police said "no lights tonight" as we sat in front of the house waiting for the lights to go on.

Ditto that. Sat alongside the house from 8 'til 8:30 tonight. Could see people moving about in the glass enclosed deck. Mahwah police (live, no recording) confirmed no lights. Sad to see it end after so many years.

Sorry but you are wrong, The house was not sold, I believe he is having problems with the town with the display.

Brought my son for the first time to see the house on Saturday night around 7pm. We sat there till 7:35 and then realized he wasn't going to have the lights on. Last night a friend went and the sign was there as well saying "No lights till Christmas".

Anyways when we left Sat night - the traffic was so bad on all the incoming streets I could see why the neighbors would be pissed. It was an absolute solid grid of cars and no-one could get in there if you lived there.

Looks like Elvis has left the building... so to speak.

I live three houses up and the lights are going to be going on christmas. He sold his property next to him but he still owns the house.

Billy - you're not talking about the property where the lake is are you? That's such an amazing lot despite the Christmas lights each year - or is it on the other side? I've never been there during the day so I can't say.

If I were you I wouldn't be happy with all that traffic - it was insane on Sat when we went. I feel for the residents as I normally came when the lights first went on and there were few people coming through so it's easy to get in/out of the area.

As for other NJ Houses like Elvis' there's one in Rockaway below the Mall - he has a ton of lights and people that visit it as Christmas nears. Has a waterfall of lights behind his house and ones that stretch up to the top of the trees out front.

Another great house is on Manhattan Ave in Waldwick, two houses up from Route 17 South. The owner has the lights blast on and off to the tunes of his own Christmas FM station.
