[Chong]
Up in smoke
Thats where my money goes
In my lungs
and sometimes up my nose
When troubled times
Begin to bother me
I take a toke
and all my cares
Go up in smoke

[Cheech]
Up in smoke
Donde todos es mi rey
There are no signs
Que dice no fumer
So I roll un "bomber"
Y me doy, un buen toke-ay
Y despues I choke
Y todos mis cares
Go up in smoke
Come on let's go get high

[Cast]
Up in smoke
That's where I wanna be
'Cause when I'm high
The world below
Don't bother me
When life begins
To be one long
and dangerous road
I take a toke
and all my cares
Go up in smoke

What a double standard we have in the US. Booze good, Pot bad. I believe we should be able to grow a few plants in our homes for recreational consumption, but not sell to another. Perhaps one should also be able to purchase (taxable) pot in limited quantities in a liquor store. How 'bout one ounce for $50.00 taxed at 100%. If we can't leagleize it, at least let's decriminalize it. What do you think???????

Anyone notice that every time the medical marijuana bill passes yet another legislative committee, a disparaging story is released regarding marijuana? Coincidence?

Geesh! I was just reading a thread about supporting our local retailers and then I find this! How can we expect local retailers to survive when they just end up busted like this! Next thing you know they'll bust a couple of massage parlors!

Just think if the tax revenue this state could have had, had this been a legal operation, regulated by the state....now figure out how much taxpayers are going to have to pay to trry and house them for the next 5 yrs or so....stupid - it is time to make some changes.

It is interesting to hear everybody's support of marijuana, EXCEPT when a Black Sports Athlete is arrested with pot in his car. All of a sudden, the pot-o-maniacs disappear, and the Public wants the mega-rich Black athlete to do substantial jail time and forfeit his spot on the squad's roster. I mean, after all, that's why our beloved Minnesota Timberwolves shipped Isaiah J.R. Rider out of town; our first true Black pro-Basketball star. That's why people started jumping off ex-Viking Randy Moss's bandwagon long before he walked off the field during a game against the Washington Redskins. In fact, when it comes to race, we want pot smokers jailed, unless they are white, and then somehow or another, we want the substance legalized. You can't have it both ways people.

This is bulls.h.i.t, they got tagged because it is still illegal, it is also about money, and if they have it they pay, if they don't they go to jail. CHANGE ANYONE!

I would say it is the same people who you say want black athletes jailed for pot offenses are the same one's who don't want to legalize it. The only thing I say about high profile people who get busted for pot is that they are stupid for driving around with it or taking it through an airport security line. Leave it at home and if you can't go a week without it while traveling or whatever then you need to dry out for awhile anyways.

No prison for gardening!!!! These are people growing plants, and we are locking them up for it! How about changing the laws and arresting them for a real crime. For instance, not paying taxes on the heavy profit they were making. In my opinion, if they pay income tax on their profits, we should be leaving them alone! LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS this is what our country was founded on.

Did you know that more people die every year from horse back riding than pot related issues. Why don't we outlaw horse back riding? I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

It's not "black athlete", it's athlete. Look at Micheal Phelps with the bong, he was caught with nothing othere than circumstantial evidence not a blunt after pushing a copper down the street with his car. We hold these idiots to a higher standard because they are supposed role models. A good parent doesn't let his kid find the dope, but knows where to look for the kids dope.
