I hope he is found but to hope that he will turn himself in is foolish. And if he is turned in, no one can prove it really if he denies it. It is truly sad, I hope the family can be at peace and be alright in the end. Prayers sent.

I pray for the Victims Family. That is really sad. I can't believe that that the person that cause this wreak can breath and know that they killed three human beings. That show you that folks don't care what they do to others. When they get this person he need to be Charged in Life in prison.

How come the other two cars didn't slow down and let the other vehicle back in? Probably the missing driver shares some responsibility but these two drivers escalated it into a fatal situation and they deserve a large chunk of the responsibility.

Give us all a break- Slow Down?? You have to be kidding??? going 65 MPH and an on coming cars pulls out in to your lane to pass a car and YOU'RE the one responsible to slow down and let the other car get back in...Soldiers Mom...How's your reaction times??? It doesn't happen that way.....and there is no sharing blame when clearly one car is at fault and causes a chain reaction that claimed 2 lives. So how come the other two cars didn't slow down? Because they couldn't get out of the way fast enough for Soldiers Mom.....

Before you start pointing fingers at the victims of this terrible tragedy you should probably know that the pontiac that was oncoming was forced into the ditch by the idiot in the belair and over corrected out of the ditch and into the lincoln. The only person in a position to prevent the accident in any way was the driver of the Chevy Belair. Yours truly, Grandson of the victim in a coma.

This is directed to Soldier Mom. Making a statement like you did makes me ponder this question. What if (God Forbid) your son was shot and wounded would it be partly his fault for not getting out of the way of the bullet! You need to know the facts of the accident before commenting!

why was an inexperienced 15 year old being allowed to drive anyway. Obviously, an underage driver did not have the skills to handle a critical situation such as a car coming toward him in his lane. He reacted by swerving, like most people would, but a more experienced driver might have stayed in the ditched rather than trying to return to the road and overcorrecting. It's very sad and unfortunate. It is a very strange story, because it would be so easy to identify who owned that classic car. I agree with the person who wrote asking why the detctives haven't been able to track this person down. Look at surveillance on turnpike. Interview people aho attended the car shows. Look and see who that model car is listed to for their tag.How did Mrs. Hobbs not receive any injury ?

A 44 yr old Mother and her nearly 16 yr old son (whom did have his permit) were driving down a road. Some dump ass comes along on the wrong side of the road and forces this young driver and his mother into a ditch. Well we know what happened then don't we? How dare you blame the victims. People like you are whats wrong with America. You make the rain and then stand around complaining about it.

Something in this story doesn't add up. They said the passing car didn't have room to pass but somehow the 15 year old driver had time to obtain a description of the car, swerve into a ditch, swerve out of a ditch and then finally hit the other car head on. This proves that the passing car had to have already been far ahead of the car it was passing.

It would be wise to familiarize yourself on the laws of the state of Kansas, which is the residence of the fifteen year old driver, before making such statements. The law allows drivers who are not yet sixteen, with the proper permit, to drive when accompanied by a licensed driver that is at least eighteen years of age. I hope this clarifies your knowledge deficit regarding why this fifteen year old driver was allowed to drive.

Please explain to me how it is possible in the two hours it took for the medics to remove the fifteen year old boy from the car using the "jaws of life", during his life flight to an appropriate hospital, and the short time after the flight that his death was announced that he was able to give such a description of the car?

Where in the world did you come up with the theory that the boy that passed gave a description of the car????????

This is such a tragic story for so many people. THese 2 deaths and one in a coma has affected atleast hundreds of lives (family/friends etc). And they are all in my prayers. But I really don't see this guy actually coming forward with this. I can see him justifying his actions somehow by now and deciding he will deal with God on judgement day for what he has done. Let's face it, our judicial system is crap and if he is caught, somehow by miracle, then he will probably walk anyway within 2 yrs. I am praying for the man in the coma and hope he can recover fully. Sometimes the worse thing you can do is listen to what the doctors think. Stay strong and the more people you can get to pray for him, the more it will help. God Bless.
