Hopes sink for saving USS Washtenaw County

We were just by there today on my boat. We saw the new scaffolding leading up to the deck etc. I sure hope the owners can pull off a restoration and revival of the ship. I really wanted to board and explore but did NOT want to violate anyone's ownership or call for trespass.
