Isn't it a shame that we still can't use the park? Closed down, grass extremely high, looks terrible. Should've gone to someone else, not the Walczaks.

Which park is that??? The one on across from Deb's Party Club?? It would be great if someone would fix it up. I've saw some work going on there lately if that's the one and recently it has served the visiting bikers well. Nice place for them to camp. It would be nice for the community to have use of again for picnics and reunions.

The park had been fixed up and is being used...as I type..for the Rolling Thunder riders this weekend. It looks great. They had to place drainage pipes and fill in with dirt. It has been flooding for several years. Do you people that talk shit even look to see what condition something is in before you give your "uninformed" opinion of it? I am sure it set the owner back alot of money. If you were so concerned, you should have donatation some cash. All in life isn't free. Get off you butt and volunteer to help clean it up. And who cares if the owner is not from WV. Geeez..this is not the movie "Next of Kin".

If you took notice before you "talked shit", the initial comments starting the thread where from June/July 2008, when no work had begun. I believe my comment/question did suggest that work had been done recently and the park was being used by the bikers this weekend. The park has NOT been usable for some time now but before anyone could volunteer, one would have to have PERMISSION, an invite with an organized manner of getting off our butts to help with it's improvements. As of, I have saw none so the "public" has no way of knowing the owners intentions for the property. I do agree that it should not matter who bought it, I'm just happy that it was fixed up enough and in time to support a place for many of the Rolling Thunder guests to stay. The owner, whoever it may be, had a lot of consideration to do that and should be thanked for it. I was just unaware the park had an actual name and wanted to point out some improvements were being done.
