During a visit to Greenbrier County I picked up a free local news paper. I was upset to read a local women embezzled money from the counties Commission On aging.I have not heard nothing else regarding this implication.Using our senior facilities made me stop to wonder how this type of situation could occur.I was also wondering if this issue had been settled or maybe was a misrepresentation of something else.Any comments?

The guilty girl is a pill head and her dad used to be the chief of police in Rainelle back in the 80s. It's so sad because back in the day, man she could make them blue jeans talk! But today, She just a nasty pill-head!

Just because a story looks one way on the outside, doesn't mean it's the full truth. The situation has been resolved. And for calling her a pill-head, back the hell off. Check out the skeletons in your own closet before you go digging in someone else's.

The situation has been resolved? So what do we know for sure? That she has alotta money, or that her dad was a big dick? or shes a pill head? or that she had a nice ass 30 years ago? or that somebody had a dead person in their closet?

You think thats something! What about the numerous accounts of VFD Cheifs/etc embezzling funds, and then Cryin' over a Levy?

I am glad to know that my comment was not left unchecked as I see several replies are noted. Being elderly and concerned about our senior citizens I am concerned over the comments placed. I also got to see and hear about the individual on local television. No matter who the individual was or is she did something very wrong.I am surprised the community and county has not pursued this matter in more depth. If an individual embezzles money from state and federal agencies there should be a stiff punishment. Our tax dollars, lottery funds & donations support these programs.Programs to help our frail and aging elderly not line the pockets of the young abled bodied employees. I am sure there will be more information in due time as the indictments have not been handed out or published as of yet. As far as VFD I am unaware of this situation with the exception of the failed levy.

Dear Verify1,,, really you have the nerve to come on here and talk about senior citizens.... You citizens expect everything for free, dont pay for anything and all you do is gossip about everyone except what you are doing... I understand what this person did was wrong but you should not come on here and talk about other people when YOU as a Senior Citizen and all the other seniors steal from the state EVERYDAY...WOW your funny!

Don't put down the senior citizens. Mind there may be a few who haven't, but most have worked hard all their lives and have earned the right to "expect everything for free" as you say. They may be dissabled or have other health problems that won't let them work. Maybe problems or disabilities they got FROM working and paying into social security and taxes all those years! They may have ungreatful children or no family at all to help them out in any way. So if you are fortunate enough to become a senior citizen, maybe you to will need and look forward to this FREE help they get from the state and/or government that they barely get by on! And while you're picking on the seniors, maybe you should also pick on the younger, lazier generation who are kicked back raking in all the welfare benifits they can get while partaking in illegal drug use and stealing from the senior citizens! If so many of them weren't on welfare soaking up all that "free money", maybe there would be more funds for the seniors who have earned it! Or is that what you're worried about, them taking money out of your pockets? Like I said, maybe you will be fortunate enough to become a senior citizen. Or should I say, maybe we will be unfurtunate enough to have to put up with you all those years till you get there. So just do us a favor and drop dead now, 10-4?.......or is that 4-20 to you?

From what I am hearing the elderly peeps are the ones getting prescription drugs and supplying the younger generations with them...Senior Citizens are just as guilty as the young punks running around here.

I must say interesting indeed. I did not bring into my comment religion or drug abuse. I believe the comment was regarding embezzlement charges of a young lady working for Commision on Aging. Yes I am a senior citizen who worked all my life and yes I draw Social Security. I pay for my Medicare. I pay for my supplemental insurance to pay for any prescriptions I may need. That my young lady is what Social Security was set up for.I am not offering nothing more then my comment as an American citizen on the matter. I assume those who are uneducated in the Social Security Act and other programs are the individuals with not enough knowledge to understand where I am coming from.I must wonder if the young lady had a drug problem that was in need of supporting after reading the other comments on drugs and if the problem was resolved it would have been published via newspaper/ television. Now let me inform the individual about being nosey, If it is broadcast on television / newspaper or radio this gives me every right to comment and give concern. This does not have one thing to do with the younger population. This is in regards to the senior population and an individual committing a serious crime that needs to be held responsible like every other criminal.

I AM SURE IF YOU WAS A REAL SENIOR CITIZEN I CAN BET YOU ONE ONE THING YOU WOULDNT BE PUTTING YOUR NOSEY ASS INTO SOMEONE BUSINESS.yOU CAN BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO ON HERE BUT SHE IS NOT A PILL HEAD AND SHE DOES NOT DO DRUGS.MAYBE SHE HAD TO PUT HERSELF IN THIS SITUATION TO DEAL WITH OTHER PROBLEMS DONT KNOW YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN FAMILY NOT BEING PERFECT SO TAKE YOUR LITTLE IPOD AND GO GET IN YOUR WELFARE LINE NOSEY ASS KEEP YOUR LITTLE CHURCH GOING COMMENTS TO YOURSELF IF YOU DONT HAE NOTHING NICE TO SAY HOPE YOU ASK THE GOOD LORD TO FORGIVE YOU MAYBE SHE HAS WE DONT NEED TO BE JUDGING HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS THE PERSON BEFORE HER HUMMMMMMMMM SURPRISE

She probably is telling lies but I can't make any sense out of it without any punctuation. It's all one big string without a period anywhere!

Oh my, I am really not impressed over the comments from "country gal" and "Lies". We are here for a discussion of embezzlement. As for being on here, it is my right as a citizen! When we the public are informed of such events it then becomes public Knowledge. Also if you have plead guilty to charges as stated in the local paper, you are guilty. If you are guilty then you must be held accountable of your crime. So let this be a lesson to all generations young and old alike. You do the crime you should be held liable for it.
Now lets stop this nonsense regarding welfare abuse and drug abuse. This is not what is being discussed. You other people brought this into the topic.Oh and let me inform all that I will pray for this young lady.
