This is not what I usually do but I have had the most frustrating experience of my life with a man named Greg at this service station. I don't know his problems but whoever owns this place better put a leash on this man. Someone is really going to hurt him. He is rude to the customers, the employees and anyone that steps in that business. How do people like this make it in life? I hear he is affiliated with AAA and am very surprised because they seem to be a nice organization. Needless to say if you hear the name University BP, run. Don't waste your time or money because it will be wrong, whatever they do.

Greg Brown is dirtier than shit. he hated it whenever I asked him to replace an alternator on my Chevy in 2006, went back and found him with a repair bill for over 800.00. He thought I was just another dumb blond college girl. What he didn't know was that under most normal circumstances, if I had the appropriate tools, I would have done such a replacement myself. I work on my own cars. Needless to say, he attempted to impound my vehicle when I refused to pay for anything outside of the parts and labor for what I authorized him to do. In the process, he had his goons run out to the parking lot and try to get the car to pull it around into the shop where they could close it in. He somehow had locked my keys INSIDE the car. Needless to say, I had the second set of keys and got inside my car, locked myself in, called the police and left the parking lot. This along with Sean Jessie at United Muffler in Radford are two places to stay the hell away from. Had a similar experience with Sean that landed his sorry bible thumping ass in court for over 1000.00 + additional repairs, faulty repairs and damages.

Radford mechanics are fucked! They get a different crowd of new people to rip off every year when the Freshmen come in and they know this. That's who they target. You've gotta be careful up there. If you really absolutely have to get something done up there, make friends with some of the local people who have lived up there forever, find a decent church etc....basically, find someone who knows something about cars, pay them a fair wage to fix it for you and skip the garage. They're all out for the same thing.

I agree with you 1010%. This guy is the rudest human I have ever encountered. They will not take responsibility for the wrong doings of the employees. I would not let them tow air for me much less ever touch my car again. Which was slammed into another car and blamed on me.

My granddaughter recently took her car to get inspected at University BP. They failed it saying that the power steering belt needed replaced and wanted to charge her $90.00 for the service. She took it to a recommended shop who inspected the car and told her that nothing was wrong with the belt.
What is wrong with this picture?

This BP Station is a major scheme to rip people off. I had my jeep inspected there and had replaced the wiper blades the day before. I watched the guy rip my wiper blades and and said they would reject it . They stated new wiper blades would be 60.00 . Yea right . Stay away from this garage.

I used to be a police officer in the area for several years. I could never say for fact but I wouldn't doubt that a legitimate job for a legitimate price was ever done on this property. They rip off these college students left and right and it's disgusting. College kids need to get the word out to stay away from this place (and others in Radford). There is a special place for crooks like this.

I took my car there for a problem with it miss firing and a regular tune up. I asked them to call me with the price and what was wrong. A few hours later they call to tell me it's fixed and to come back and pay. I get there and explained to Greg and Steve that Noone called me with the price. They both looked dumb founded and didn't even offer an explanation other than 'they thought the other person called me'. The entire bill came to 800 dollars. What if I didn't have that money and they did all that without my consent?! Someone needs to Pickett that place and get them shut down. He's a hypocritical so called christian. Makes me sick.

I would dare to bet they probably did the hub for about $50. Why people continue to go to that place I will never understand.

Don't ever use University BP in Radford, Va. They are crooks. My vehicle broke down. I told them to tow in vehicle and not to make any repairs. They stripped my car and lost parts. They also stole personal property and cash from my vehicle. Don't ever use this garage. Run away from this garage.

You have a dangerous mouth. Rather than talk to the Manager or owner you have taken it on yourself to hurt their business and destroy his personal credibility. It is evident you lack maturity. Never pass on hearsay it makes you appear stupid.

I do know several wrecker services that require cash. It is their right to collect cash or a credit card. If you pay by card they lose 3 to 4% on the transaction. You could have gone to a ATM and paid another $ 3.oo for a transaction to pay them cash. Why don't you have towing insurance? I do-------! The problem is yours. Your car--your break down----------YOU PAY--------

Let me take the opportunity to back her up and I don't believe in passing on hearsay, Unless it involves helping out these kids trying to find their place in the world. They told her how bad she needed a four wheel alignment. For her safety I sad, "Ok do it." She bought the car home and while doing routine maintenance I saw where they had never even broke the bolts to do said maintenance. The coating and overspray showed they never had a wrench on any of the bolts. They charged me a lot of money and never even pretended to do the work. I have not just forgotten about that check out the laundromats and pizza joint. I have a flyer with pictures in every place I can get one that these kids frequent. No if I can save these kids a single dime it is now worth my time.

I have been ripped off there too. Just to look at the car:$25. Inspection:$15 plus whatever they fin...err...break! They broke the sensors on my tire and tried to get me to pay for it. They are the WORST place to get service and the younger tall red haired guy is rude.
