So, I was at the Radcliff McDonald's @ Dixie & Lincoln Trail, & have to say that they have some of the rudest managers I have ever witnessed!! They talk to their employee's like they are a piece of crap, & I personally was offened!!

True, but some of the employees make me irrate. I feel like none of them care if they get any order right. I order the simplest thing and they still mess it up!

@ good reading - I agree! They are getting paid to perform customer service & alot of them don't care. I do have to wonder, is it because of how they are treated? Just a thought.

Could they be treated that way because of how they act? In my personal experience customer service has gone down hill in most fast food establishments. I know its fast food but I am still a paying customer and should hear a polite voice when I pull up to the drive through window, a smile wouldn't be too much to ask or a simple thank you. I think to many kids (and adults) think they should receive a pay check by just showing up to work and don't really care enough to provide good customer service. When I have good experiences I always try to compliment the person.

In reality the problem is probably a combination of all, the way the manager treats them, how some of the employees act and this mentality of getting paid just because you show up.

Maybe they act that way is because of the way customers treat them. Not all customers act friendly or polite to them.

If i may i currently just stopped working for a McDonalds in Elizabethtown and i may be able to shed some light on things. although yes crew are suppossed to carry themselves to a code of fast friendly service, there are a few things that can cause what you have pointed out. yes the way the managers treat their crew reflects on how they perform, as well as how the customers treat the employees, trust me ive had many a rude, at times beligerent customer either, a yell at me in a totally disrespectful manner or b. just be downright rude, but i never acted foul nor did i return the disrespect. sometimes when its younger kids working at these establishments they are just learning the fundamentals of the workplace, some improve while some could care less and are just looking to make some cash while not in school. whatever the reason there is no excuse for the behavior of the managers or the crew. no exceptions. if i were you the next time you encounter this problem ask to speak to Shiela Mott she is the general manager over both stores in Radcliff and im can assure you that she would be very interested to know how her employees are treating their customers

I just returned from having dinner there with my kids. I love the playplace & the WiFi...the kids always enjoy themselves when we go there & it is always a fight to get them out. I have (for the most part) always received fast & friendly service.
If I did ever witness any behavior that was offensive to me, I would definitly ask to speak to the manager. If it is a manager then I will ask for the person over them & will not "let it go".

My only favor to ask is that if you're going to park me and you already gave me my drink, please at least give me a straw to drink it with while I wait.

worked there for 3 years and I promise you Sheila Mott is the reason the managers treat the employees like shit. Sheila is the WORST person to work for. McDonalds is already a not so great job, add her to the mix and it just stresses you out completely. I always was the hardest worker never called in always did what they asked and I never got praise for it. If I ever slightly messed up she would make sure I heard about it, she really knows how to hurt your ego. and get this, I was an employee she actually LIKED. I can't imagine being one of the many that she didn't like. The managers (most of them) are honestly great people, I had went out with a few outside of work and had a blast. Inside of work, it was like they were totally different and I understand why. The way they are treated by Sheila is so sad. Sheila is a fake person and extremely hateful to the employees who do so much for her.

Most of the time they are polite and most of the time they get the orders correct & I have found that when they do make those rare mistakes, they are quick to correct them and also offer to let you keep the incorrect order as well (that is IF you want it.) There have been times that I don't notice a mistake until I have already gotten my order home so I just call and tell them POLITELY, and if I do not feel like driving back right then... they just take my name, tell me to save my reciept, and when I return again they re-do the order at no charge to me. Now, that is FAIR and shows good business! Sure, I know some people get really angry and even yell at the employees if their order is messed up, but really, what good does that do? EVERYONE makes mistakes and as long as it is not dangerous and it can be easily corrected, I never get all bent out of shape about it. Life goes on! I am just thankful I live in a country where there is such a great opportunity to have food availabe. LIFE IS GOOD!

I was personally disrespected by the store mngr one occasion because she couldn't take responsibility for making a mistake on my sandwich that she had made. She yelled at the cashier, but it was directed towards me. I have worked in fast food almost my entire working life and I have never seen such rude behavior, let alone by an authority figure. Of course we can stop whining and stay home, cook our own meals rather than have some bitch do it for us. But they chose that job, they know when they show up for work that day what to expect, and they know how they should act. its unacceptable to treat people with such harsh behavior.
