He's a very good man and does his best with what he has!!! I graduated some time ago and he stills remembers me everytime I see him!!! The people who point the finger at school administrators should take a good look in the mirror. The majority of them put their best forward everyday they walk through those doors. And I can speak from personal experience that Mr.Dennison is one of the good guys!!

Mr. Dennison is a nice man!I graduated a few years ago as well. so he may have made some mistakes but his kindness triumphs over that. Who cares about what he does in his personal life? That's none of your or my business! Its not like he's sleeping with or dealing drugs with students. Grow up and stop your childish gossiping!

I dont have kids, and no one said he was a role model. All I said was people need to mind their business. No one is perfect but when someone makes a mistake then everyone around them makes a mockery of them like we are all supposed to be saints or something. Please. Half the people on here talking about him have probably cheated themselves, dont be hypocrites.

I suppose you can judge him if you like, but if ex president Bill Clinton can do what he did, lie like he did, and be who he is, then why expect any leader to be different?

Don't make a role model out of people unless they want to be one.

Being a role model goes with the territory for teachers , principals and a few other professions. When you decide to pursue a career in leadership you should hold yourself to a higher standard.

Yea you can compare him to anyone you like but he is his own man and makes his own decisions. Too bad people don't realize wether he wants to be or not he has an impact on kids. You would hope it is a positive impact but not so much in this case lol

Hmm let's see. You are correct. He should be held to a higher standard. As all leaders should be. But we as a people have accepted this behavior and allow it to go unpunished, na even rewarded. Again Bill Clinton. This is a thing of our own creation. As a people we allow and accept it.

I agree its wrong but why do we pick and choose who we wish to judge and hold accountable, why can't it be 1 rule for all?

I agree with the above poster, but as a community, a society we have labeled such things to be acceptable. Why is he different from other leaders? We should actually be looking at our own beliefs and morals AMD try to mold society to a better way. But we want everyone to be happy so to each thier own.

I still dont understand why people are bothered by what he does with his personal time. He is not involving the community, this act of his was a private act, its a problem between him and his family. And it should be left at that. You guys are arguing about whether or not he's a good role model because of what he's done, I went to north, and I can assure you I have had teachers that had far worse qualities. I feel bad for mr. Dennison, that he made a mistake, it went public, and now people won't keep there noses out of his business.

Maybe people need to know both sides of the story.

Mr D attended countless activities alone or with his father-in-law. Where was his wife? Seems odd that the wife would be out and about and let her husband care for her father.

Cast your stones but you will stand judgement too

Ok...whether you want to believe it or not, he IS a role model. When he accepted that position, he became one and is held to a higher standard. This is the same man who preached abstinence to his student body and then oooops...his girlfriend (he was still married at the time) ends up pregnant. But she was out to get him and she did just that. I don't have much respect for any mother that has three different kids by three different fathers. He needs to retire and I hear that he is at the end of the year. Mr Dennison: When you asked some of your staff whether you need to retire and they said yes...you should have listened. Your respect has been lost. And as far as I am concerned you and your woman (using the term very loosely) can leave Hardin County at any time. I will help you pack.

Many of you are making comments about people that you obviously don't know. I have had the pleasure to know both of them and know they are good people. Everyone is free to choose whomever they want to be with. She is divorced and so is he, so really what he does is none of our business. We need to focus our attention to the dishonest, manipulative superintendent and her good ole boys that run the show. Ask yourself how many of the people at the board of education got there. They don't support what preach in public. They only care about their jobs and will railroad anyone that they feel can threaten than. Am I disgruntled, no but I've watched them destroy peoples lives and not bat an eye.

He was NOT divorced when they started their illicit affair. The marriage broke up because she got pregnant....again, by another man...So you don't know what you are talking about either.
