This man had also beat up my mother which is his wife. He had beat her on June the 3rd and Newton county police took forever to responed acted to me as if it wasn't serious. I called 911 after my mother called stating she need to come to my house because he was threating her and calling her names so she went to the bedroom to get some of her things she called me and asked me if it would be alright and I heard him come in and say "What are you doing ? my mother answered " I am leaving . and the last thing I heard was Your not going any where a muffled sound and the phone went dead I immedately called 911 gave the address and advised of the situation. I get a call from the one of the officers responding and he asked me to call my mother back to see if she would answer because he was all the way in Joplin he acted like he was having to go out of his way. so i called and phone was going straight to voice mail he had broke the phone. I told the officer after waiting five mins for him to call back that called 3 times no answer. My mother even called this so called girlfriend of his because he told her he was working for and old couple for money. Ends up it was his girlfriend. My mom calls her and tells her he will do this to her. My mom had bruises on her head her chest her arms she had a concusion. No one took pictures they didn't even arrest him or try to they took my mom with only the clothes she had on and said that they wouldn't go after him and risk their life if he had a gun. So my moms the victim and they don't arrest him. We were at walmart in Joplin he enede up being there twice this happened we call Joplin police because he is harrassing my mother and they never show up never not one officer. My husband even called trying to tell them he is following him to get them to pick him up. This man has threaten my children and I and he doesnt' deserve to get out of Jail. If fact the woman he beat up the second time would of never happened if they would of took the situation seriously the first time.
