Drug roundup in Greenup nets 21

Drug detectives arrested 21 on Wednesday in a roundup in Greenup County. Detectives with the FADE Drug Task Force along with officers from the Grayson, Flatwoods , Russell , Raceland , Wurtland, Greenup and Vanceburg police departments and Carter County Sheriff's Department made the arrests for illegal drug trafficking.

I am glad to see there are drug bust made on traffickers. I just hope all of these law enforcement officers band together now and help Carter County bust ALL of their drug traffickers. I am sure they can arrest more than 21 inside of Carter County....Go Get Em'!!!!

Did they have a big drug rally like the one in Grayson? Those usually bring down one drug dealer and bring out a bunch of users.

thats what happen in greenup they didnt get the drug dealers they just got the addicts

You're wrong. I know at least one on the list who was a dealer and I'm sure will be again once he gets out. Anyone else know someone? Don't assume. Someone you know was dealing? Not asking for names, just curious.

So when are they going to get the other 49? The article said they had 70 warrants.... drug dealers sweatin it everywhere....LOL! I think they ought to make a public spectacle of them.... post billboards of their mugshots...... right on 23.

I believe that the fade program in greenup juat waste time popping people for a sale of 1 to 3 pills at a time. They need to find the big timers instead. Just for the fade program to get 80 dollars in revunue for one bust for one person. That is weak.

I dont know about everyone else but, I myself want em all arrested! From the little fishes to big shark!! I want my neighborhood back! This is a real problem in our community and in our country. If you dont get em all it will never stop. They have to have to pay the piper or they will never learn. And it cant be a little slap on the wrist. They need to do hard time and humilation for it! If we dont get a grip on this crap now. Where will our youth and our grandchildren be???? Think about what I am saying. If you notice alot of traffic and activities going on in your neighborhood REPORT IT!!! And dont call the Greenup Sherrif's dept call the State Police or FADE!!! Together we can conquor these pillheads and pillpushers!!!!!!

i know the jailer in greenup and he told me that they may in fact have 70 inditments but 1 person can have 4 or 5 on them

unfortunately they haven't stopped the ones coming in from Ironton, Ohio. They have been coming into Flatwoods, and Greenup for years, but nothing seems to have been done about it. But fine job on the ones they have caught, now what are they going to do with them????? That seems to be the big problem!!!!!!!
