kids world daycare

Is it a good daycare? How do they treat the kids?

I absolutely love Kids World Daycare...My oldest daughter has been going since she was 5 weeks old and she will be 2 in August...They are so wonderful with my girls....I totally trust them...They are all extremely nice when I drop off the girls or pick them up....My oldest daughter loves it there....my youngest is only 5 months so cant tell on that one yet....

I do not have children that went there, but have heard that are very good. If I ever have to send mine to a daycare that is where I would send them. I do know that one girl got fired at the Shelby Valley location and they rehired her at the Pikeville location a couple of years later. That is the only negative thing I have heard. I do know that they work with children very well in regards to learning.

Kids world is the worst daycare around here my son hung himself there 3 years ago he is ok but he honestly hung himself he was 3 years old there has been other kids get hurt there as well they don't watch the kids

I would not leave my dog in the care of betty tackett her and her employees don't care about the children all they are worried about is money not the kids safety and well being

The workers at Kids World do care about the children...to name two specfic Jackie and Samantha...they are absolutely GREAT with my girls...my oldest has been going there almost 2 years and I do not know of any child that was hurt in that period of time...I think they are wonderful with children

I think that this is ridiculous. Something like this would have been broadcast all over Pikeville. I have heard nothing but good things about this daycare.

if you go back in there ask them where is mary and why she is no longer with them and you can go through the state and get all the public records on the day care I also have copies of all of it my son was 3 and hung his self on the play ground thank God he is ok April made 3 years since it happened and i wouldn't be so shallow to make up suck a thing about my son i had it investigated by dpp and they found 2 of the employees guilty of child neglect and as far as it being all over pike county yes it was it just was never put into new express because she pays them too much to advertise her ads and when it first happened they couldn't put it on air because of the investigation ask betty herself she might tell the truth

And that was 3 years ago...that is where my child goes now, going on 2 years and nothing has happened within that time...they are excellent with my girls!

HEY I REMEMBER THAT HAPPENING I WORKED THERE AT THE TIME IT WAS BAD NO ONE FROM THE DAY CARE EVEN ACTED LIKE THEY CARED ALL BETTY WAS WORRIED ABOUT WAS A LAWSUIT SHE WASN'T WORRIED ABOUT HOUSTON OR WEATHER HE WAS OK OR NOT I NEVER WILL FORGET THE DAY AS LONG AS I LIVE BY THE WAY HOW IS HE NOW

It did happen. I was there. I quit working there because it's a terrible place! Betty is a mean and heartless woman!

My kids hated it there. And Betty is a very bad person. I've seen her say very bad things to parents IN FRONT of children!!

Houston is doing very well now there was no permanent damage thank God

My child started going there right before he turned two and would start crying everyone morning right as I would turn the corner by US Bank. He would continue to cry everyday and would be crying when I picked him up everyday. Also, he would be filthy from eating, like they never wipe their faces.
I've since switched him to Model City and since his first day he hasn't cried one day. He gets excited when we pull up to the building.

I would recommend Model City over Kids World any day.

My kid goes to Kids World & has for a year and a half. He LOVES it & he LOVES the girls who work HARD there for not much more than the love the kids offer everyday! These girls do a wonderful job! I have also worked there on & off throughout my lfe & I know first hand not only how much the girls there love these kids, but also how much Betty loves these kids! I know from time to time she may come off as a bitch, but her first and foremost thought everyday is the well-being and the happiness of these kids.
Now if some kid was so unhappy with his life that he tried to hang himself, seek psychiatric help - QUICKLY! But obviously they were watching him pretty well or he would be dead right now, huh?
