There is an interesting point made in (Mark 9:1).

1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

The kingdom came with POWER in (Acts 2:1-4).

Either the kingdom (the church)was established in the first century as (Mark 9:1) claimed or there are some men on earth presently which are about 2000 yrs old.

********

The above information is devastating to those who believe the kingdom has not yet been established. They believe Jesus is to come back to earth at some point in the future and THEN establish his kingdom.

The problem is that the bible teaches Jesus will not return to the earth. He will rather come in the clouds and the faithful will go to meet the Lord in the sky.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.(1Thess.4:16)

*****

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

24 Then cometh the end,(1Cor. 15:23)

The verse above teaches the Lords will return in the clouds, then end cometh.

1. Are you waiting on the kingdom to be established?

or

2. Do you believe the kingdom of Christ has already been established?

If you think the kingdom of Christ (the church)has not yet been established and the kingdom (the church) is yet to be established in the future at some point you will not mask it to heaven b/c you have been taught a false doctrine.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God...(2Jn 9)

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments (Jn 14:15).

14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.(Jn 15:14)

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.(1Jn 2:3-6)

I do not mean to upset people but I hope to get you to test what you have been taught against the pattern (the word of God)(1Jn 4:1-6)(Jn 5:39).

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.(Acts 17:11).

Do not accept anything your preacher says unless he can show you book chapter and verse (BCV).

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.(1Thess.5:21)

The Kingdom has not been established yet. Satan is the god of this world at this present time, and he has not been relegated to the eternal lake of fire. If the Kingdom were in place right now, Christ would have power over all things. He does not, yet, but he certainly will.

But you still think that Titus was the anti-christ in AD 70, so I can see where you would be confused about such things.

1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

The kingdom came with POWER in (Acts 2:1-4).

Either the kingdom (the church) was established in the first century as (Mark 9:1) claimed or there are some apostles on earth presently which are living and about 2000 yrs old.

Fat chance.

*****

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:(Col. 1:13)

... translated us into the kingdom

...translated us into the kingdom

... translated us into the kingdom

9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom ...(Rev. 1:9)

companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom ...

companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom ...

companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom ...

Inspired men said people were translated into the kingdom during the first century.

You cannot place men in something which does not exist. So the kingdom was established in (Acts 2) just as the scriptures prophecied.(Isa.2:1-5)(Joel 2:28)(Luke 24:47-49)(Acts 1:5,8)

The Kingdom was to come with POWER.(Mark 9:1)

When the POWER comes we know the kingdom came.

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.(Luke 24:47-49)

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence....8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you (Acts 1:5,8)

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.(Acts 2:1-4)

...suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a

...rushing mighty wind...

...rushing mighty wind...

...rushing mighty wind...

Above we see the POWER which sat upon the apostles, as of a rushing mighty wind just as the word of God said.

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.(Mark 1:15)

Jesus said the following -

...the kingdom of God is at hand...

...the kingdom of God is at hand...

...the kingdom of God is at hand...

How does Jesus use the words "at hand"?

Does the Lord use these words "at hand" to mean some 2000 years later or rather the time is upon us now this minute?

****

45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.(Mt.26:45,46)

verses 47,49 read as follows -

47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came,...

47 And while he yet spake,...
47 And while he yet spake,...

Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss.

So Jesus uses the words "at hand" to mean very close upon us presently this very minute.

This sheds new light on the phrase -

The kingdom is "at hand".

Not some 2000 years later according to the words of Jesus.

Well, it is nearer now than it was back then. That is for certain.

But it is not in place yet. If it were, there would be no war, no school shootings, and no multiple religions all over the world. Satan would no longer be "the god of this world" and "the prince of the power of the air" like he is right now.

Ask yourself this ... If the Kingdom were in effect right now, why does its King allow evil to be present in it?

Answer: because it hasn't been established yet.

Each and every king must deal with evil during his reign.

How do you answer the verses above which clearly say people were translated into the kingdom of Christ in the first century.

Did God lie?

2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie (Titus 1:2)

4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;(Rom 3:4)

John 18:36
King James Version (KJV)

36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: BUT NOW is my kingdom not from hence.

The Kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom. No flesh and blood shall enter into it. The Kingdom of Heaven is an earthly kingdom, with Christ as it's long-prophesied head. Now I realize that the CoC and the Catholics don't believe this, but that isn't my concern.

Jesus Christ came literally in the flesh to die and shed his blood, so why, when he says repeatedly that he is coming back to rule with a rod of iron, do people not believe what he said?

"Why call ye me Lord, Lord and do not the things that I say?"

Matthew 19:27-28
King James Version (KJV)

27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Acts 1:6-7
King James Version (KJV)

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Acts 2:29-35
King James Version (KJV)

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

David's throne is not in heaven, as verse 34 states. And I won't bother you with Revelation's commentary on it, since you believe that Titus was the anti-christ and that most everything in Revelation happened in AD 70.

Big mistake.

(Jn 3:5)- Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

(2Sam. 7:12,13)-...I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Kingdom and House is linked together above.

(1Tim. 3:15)- 15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

House of God and Church of living God linked together above.

(Mt. 16:18,19)- 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Church and Heaven is linked together above.

(Luke 8:21)- My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

Those who have a relationship with God are those who obey his commands (hear word of God and do it).

What did those on the day of Pentecost do to be saved?

(Acts 2:38)- 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins...

(Acts 2:47)-. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The Lord added "all" the saved to the church / the kingdom / House of God.

Not one person is saved outside The House of God / The Kingdom of Heaven / The church of Christ / The Body of Christ.

...by the body of Christ(Rom. 7:4)

Body = Church

The churches of Christ (Rom. 16:16)

How many churches does the Lord have?

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.(1Cor.12:20)

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,(Eph. 4:5)

"Ye must be born again."

Why doesn't Paul, in any of his epistles, write about being "born again?"

Simple answer: the "ye" in John 3 is about Israel being born again. But you won't get that unless you are reading a KJV.

Romans 11:25-27 speaks of WHEN Israel shall be saved. Go read it and see.

If John wrote about being "born again" in (Jn 3:5) Paul need not come behind John and say it once again. It could be done but it is not needful to do so.

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.(Jn 3:5)

Except a man (any man / whosoever))

be born of water and of the Spirit

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.(Jn 3:5)

man -

G5100
τί ς
tis
tis
An enclitic indefinite pronoun; some or any person or object:- a (kind of), any (man, thing, thing at all), certain (thing), divers, he (every) man, one (X thing), ought,+ partly, some (man,-body,-thing,-what),(+ that no-) thing, what (-soever), X wherewith, whom [-soever], whose ([-soever]).

The word "man" above can be any man.

some or any person

divers

whom [-soever],

whose ([-soever]).

It is the end of the verse which puts the nail in the coffin for the doctrine you are teaching W.

...he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.(Jn 3:5)

The only way a man 9any man) can enter heaven is to be born again (Jn 3;5)(Rom. 6:3-6). there are only one way to be born again (NOT TWO).

"Any man" (all men) must be born again or else they cannot go to heaven.

*Born Again -

Paul did write about being born again you just refuse to accept it.

(Rom. 6:3-6)

The Old Man of sin is now living and doing as he pleases.

This person decides to live for Jesus and put away the old man of sin.

3....we are buried with him by baptism into death:

The only time you will see the words "with Him" is AFTER being buried in water for the remission of sins.(Acts 2:38)(Acts 22:16)

No one is CONNECTED TO Christ (a relationship) until they have put away the Old man of sin (old ways) by dying and burying that old man.

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.(Isa. 59:1,2)

Then this man is "raised" up out of the water to walk in NEWNESS of life. But the newness of life does not begin until the old man has been buried (in water). That is what we do with dead things, we bury them.

Denominations bury men alive. That makes no sense at all, but by the time they get around to burying somone in water they CLAIM the individual has alredy been born again (ANEW). Not so.

Raised to walk

Then this man is "raised" up out of the water to walk in NEWNESS of life.

...that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the (Rom. 6:4)(Eph.2:6)

...even so we also should walk in newness of life.(Rom. 6:4)

Newness of life for this person only happens AFTER being baptized in water for the remission of sins.(Acts 2:38)(Acts 22:16)

...baptism doth also now save us (1Peter 3:20,21).

...the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.(Rom. 1:16)

to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.(Rom. 1:16)

to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.(Rom. 1:16)

to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.(Rom. 1:16)

THE gospel of Christ was to go to the Jews first then that same gospel was to go to the Gentiles.

There are no two gospels. that is an impossibility when God told everyone to speak the same thing and have the same judgment (1Cor.1:10)(Phil. 3:16).

Paul said he went into ever congregation of the Lord people and he taught the very same thing in each church.(1Cor.4:17).

John sent "one book" to all the churches in (Revelation 1:11).

...write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia...(Rev.1;11)

You cannot get two gospel out of one book especially when that one book says to speak the "very same thing" and have "no division" among you.

Who taught you this stuff W?
