James 2:24
King James Verison (KJV)
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Well, which is it? The faith OF Christ, or your works? Which will you seek to be justified by?
Do you even know WHAT the faith OF Jesus Christ is?
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. which was once delivered unto the saints.(Jude 3)

...you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

...contend for the faith

The faith = The way

******

The following verse speak of The Way (that way).

Which would be the faith of Christ.(Jn 14:26)(Jn 16:13)(Jn 17:8).

Act_16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Act_18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Act_18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Act_24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Heb_12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

2Pe_2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2Pe_2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

2Pe_2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Above Some knew the way (were Christians) but turned from the way (turned from the commandments of God). So Gods mind holds the commands He wants done (Phil.2:5)(Jn 15:14)(Jn 15:14)(1Jn 2:3-6).

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:(Phil. 2:5)

Notice not one of the verses above speak of These ways. That is b/c there is only one way, one gospel, one way of truth, one way of salvation (Rom. 1:16). And that one gospel was to go to the Jews first then the Gentiles.(Rom. 1:16)

If there were two gospels being taught in the NT Law of Christ placing (1Cor.1:10)(Phil. 3:16) and many other scriptures which teach we all need to be teaching the very same doctrine and have the very same juedgment would make no sense at all.

Note also - 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God....(2Jn 9)

Notice please the verse above speaks of "THE DOCTRINE". This is referring to one gospel.(Rom. 1:16)

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.(2Tim.4:3)

The camera is to make sure both sides play fair and do not lie and make trouble for the other side.

It seems asking a bible question in the Baptist Church is actually "disrupting" a bible class. Thats how the Baptist in Virginia define the word "disrupt".

Simply asking a Bible question.

The Baptist Church in the Virginia area have pushed, shoved, hit, tackled, broke cameras, stole camera, stole camera film and asking a question in bible class.

The truth is they refuse to admit Baptism (in water) is a part of the gospel (Mark 16:15,16).

...Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...(Mark 16:15,16).

preach the gospel

to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved

I will give credit where credit is due. the Baptist do teach truth on the subject of miracles. They, like me, know not one person in the world today can do a miracle.

60 minutes would pick up on a story of miracles happening today very very quick. It would be spread all over the world in no time. God is not in the miracle business today. He is in the business of spreading the word (the gospel).

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.(1Cor.1:21)

2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.(2Tim. 2:2)

The gospel is a taught religion according to (Jn 6:44,45).

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

they shall be all taught of God.

Every man therefore that hath heard

and hath learned of the Father

cometh unto me.

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.(2Cor.4:7)

Angels, the Holy Spirit, The Lord, and God are all heavenly vessels. Heavenly vessels never tell men (earthly vessels) what to do to be saved.

God has ordained that man preach to man and save other through the gospel (2Tim. 2:2)(1Cor.1:21). That is why the Lord sent Paul to a man to hear what he MUST DO to be saved. That is why the angel of the Lord told Philip to go and teach the Ethiopian eunuch what he must do to be saved.

Even Lazarus understood the importance of preaching the gospel but it was too late for him according to (Luke 16:30,31). He was told even a miracle would not convince people to be saved. It was going to take an honest heart to accept and obey the gospel.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.(Luke 16:30,31)

Below you find the kind of attitude which will help save man.

...Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.(Acts 10:33)

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.(2Thess.2:10)

because they received not the love of the truth,

The gospel of the Kingdom
The gospel of the circumcision
The gospel of the uncircumcision
The gospel of God
The gospel of the grace of God
The gospel of Jesus Christ
The everlasting gospel

All of these are found in the Bible, so it is plain to see that there is more than one gospel.

Did you NOT notice the word "THE" in each of the phrases above?

Can there be more than one while using the word "THE"?

Read (Eph. 5:23-32)and notice each time it says - it, the body, the church, her, a glorious church, His body. God is using these words which show the singularity of the church / body.

He begins by showing the Lord wants one man to have one woman.

(Mt. 19:9)

People will not accept truth.

24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.(Acts 28:24)

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.(Jn 12:48)

inquiring minds are the ones who are going to heaven (Acts 2:36-47). So there is no reason to be upset at those who ask bible questions.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

47 And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
