Each person who finds themselves in a denomination needs to double check the lessons above b/c no one will be saved in a denomination.

Denoms oppose the word of God.

No one will be saved by saying the sinners prayer.

I know preachers who have been offering $1000.00 cash for many years now to the person who can prove the "sinners prayer" is in the bible (after the death of Jesus).

No one has taken the prize yet and it has been some ten years. If I were a person who thought they was saved by saying a prayer that would concern me greatly.

Very good scripture, but one must determine who is the righteous and who is the evil. Many people today who would consider themselves to be in the righteous column is actually in the evil.

One may ask, how do you?

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.(Mt. 7:21)

Did you see how God used the word "doeth"?

Is the Lord trying to tell man he must "do" something to be saved?

YES (Heb. 5:9)(Acts 10:34,35)(Acts 2:38,40).

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.(Rom. 2:6)

1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. 2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God,...(1Thess.4:1-3)

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.(2Cor.5:10)

...Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.(Rev. 14:13)

* 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:11,12)

11. The grace of God provides, it does not cover. It provides instructions and those instructions divides the good people from the evil people depending upon their choices they make regarding the commandments of God. Note --->(Mt 10:34)

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.(Mt. 10:34)

It is our choices which places us in either the righteous column or the evil column (Heb. 11:4)

4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Abel ---------> righteous

Cain evil ----> evil

(Gen 4:3-8)

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:(Eph. 2:12)

... being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel,

... and strangers from the covenants of promise,

... and without God in the world:

Aliens from the commonwealth of Israel means that those particular Gentiles that Paul wrote to at Ephesus were not allied with Israel and the God that she worshipped. They were idol worshipping heathens followed the goddess Diana, as is found in Acts 19. They were not the type of Gentile who feared God and blessed Israel, like Cornelius, the Ethiopian eunuch, the Samaritan woman at the well, the Canaanite woman with the sick daughter, etc.

There were two types of Gentiles back then. Not so, today. No Gentile today has any reason to bless Israel, despite what people like Pat Robertson and John Hagee say. Israel today would crucify Jesus Christ all over again, and put it on television this time around.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.(Gal. 6:16)

These people are the Israel of God today.

Note also that the Ephesian letter says -

(Eph. 2:16)-

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Both (Jew / Gentile)

reconcile both unto God

in one body (church / kingdom)

by the cross,

There is only one way to get -

"into the body"

"into the church"

"into the kingdom"

All the saved are located in the body (church/kingdom) According to (Eph. 5:23)(Acts 2:47).

How do people get "into Christ" today?

...baptized into Christ have put on Christ.(Gal. 3:27)

...baptized into Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:3-6)

What kind of baptism.(Acts 8:38,39)

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water,

When does the blood of Jesus wash away sins?(Eph.1:7)

(Acts 22:16)(Acts 2:38)

1. Arise

2. Be Baptized

3. Wash Away Your Sins

Me - The Ephesians in (Acts 19:1-6) seemed to be following the Lord. They had been baptized by John.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

I think you need to do some more research.

The Ephesians not only were baptized by John in water for the remission of their sins (Mark 1:4)(Jn 3:23), they were willing to submit to the baptism of the New Testament (Acts 2:38)(Acts 22:16).

(Acts 2:38)

1. Repent,
2. and be baptized
3. for the remission of sins,

(Acts 22:16)

1. Arise
2. Be Baptized (in water)
3. Wash Away Your Sins

The Ephesians were baptized twice and that is a far cry from belief "alone" salvation.

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.(James 2:17)

...faith without works is dead?(James 2:20)

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.(James 2:24)

Do these sound like the same people?

Ephesians 2:12 (KJV)

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

James 1:1 (KJV)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

The 12 tribes of Israel.

The 12 tribes of Israel.

The 12 tribes of Israel.

...versus the Ephesian gentiles that he wrote that letter to, who were no allied with Israel in any way, shape, or form.

I really think that you need to do some more research on what was written to whom.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.(Gal. 3:28)

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:(Eph. 2:16)

Both Jew and Gentile are located in the body of Christ if they are saved. They both got into Christ in the very same manner. Just read (Acts 2:36-47).

36. Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38. Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

47....And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Many people today do not understand that there is a COMMON salvation spoken of in (Jude 3).

Paul said it like this -

...who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.(1Cor.4:17)

as I teach every where in every church.(1Cor.4:17)

as I teach every where in every church.(1Cor.4:17)

as I teach every where in every church.(1Cor.4:17)

Paul also said the following -

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.(1Cor.1;10)

16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.(Phil. 3:16)

Paul could walk into all of the first century congregations of the Lords church and teach the very same doctrine.

Paul could not do the same today.

Is anyone asking why Paul cannot do the same thing today he did in the first century?

People today oppose what Paul taught in (1Cor.4:17).

The sinners prayer is not found in the NT after the death of Jesus. This is a true statement.

Why are preachers telling people to do this?
