All spiritual blessings are found "in Christ"?(Eph.1:3)

Until a person becomes a Christian he/she does not have the blessing of saying a prayer using Jesus as the mediator.

A list of some of the blessings in Christ -

1. Redemption (Eph.1:7)

2. No Condemnation (Rom.8:1)

3. New Creation (2Cor.5:17)

4. Salvation (2Tim.2:10)

5. Eternal Life (1John 5:11)

*How does the alien sinner get into Christ?

27 For as many of you as have been (baptized into Christ) have put on Christ.(Gal.3:27)

*One might ask what kind of baptism?(Acts 8:38,39).

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into (the water), both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of (the water), the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

*Does the water wash away sins? No,it is the blood of Jesus that washes our sins away when we obey the commands of the Lord (Rev.1:5).

5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

*In (John 9) A blind man washes in a pool of water. Did the water give the man his sight? NO, The Lord gave the man his sight after he obeyed the commands the Lord gave to him. Notice also (2Kings 5).

(Mark 16:16)- Believe + Baptism = Salvation

(Acts 22:16)-

1. Arise

2. Be Baptized

3. Wash Away Your Sins

(Acts 2:38)- 38 ...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

(1Peter 3:21) Baptism doth also now save us...

Why can't you see that baptism is not needed and that we can't lose our salvation?

Why do we allow people to stand in our pulpits each week and teach people to "pray into Christ" when there is no such an example of people doing this in the NT after the death of Jesus?

Please take notice what God says in this verse.

31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners:

31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners:

31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners:

(John 9:31)

Are we going to allow this to continue?

Were you told to say a prayer to be saved? If so, go and ask your preacher where that prayer is found in the New Testament?

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.(John 5:39)

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,...(Col.3:17)

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world....

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.(1John 4:1-6)

Could you be following a false prophet and not know it? If you follow the bible verses above you can be sure you are not following one. You can be sure you are following truth if you do what these verses say.

Since God hears NOT sinners. Why are preachers telling sinners to pray for forgiveness? Gods word states He will not hear a sinner (John 9:31).

God can have no part with a sinful person until they do what Paul done to rid himself of sin in (Acts 22:16)(Rom.6:3-6)(2Cor.5:17). When the blood of Jesus cleanses the obedient persons sins it is then the this new child of God has all the spiritual blessings we read about in (Eph.1:3). One of those spiritual blessings is prayer. One does not have the right to pray to God until he becomes a child of God.

For those who judged my post, care to discuss why you think I am wrong in light of the scriptures?

Thanks for judging my post. At least you took a stand for what you believe (Eph.6:10-14). Now let us go to the bible and test our faith to see if what we believe is actually what the word of God says (Acts 17:11).

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world....6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.(1John 4:1-6)

Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.(1John 4:1-6)

Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.(1John 4:1-6)

Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.(1John 4:1-6)

To test another's faith is to show your love for them and the word of God. Some call it unloving (John 7:24). They need to read the word of God (Acts 17:11)(1John 4:1-6).

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

In the scripture above they were testing the teachings of an apostle. I do not find where Paul or any other apostle thought it unloving to check up (or test) what he was preaching.

The apostle Paul said the following.

...the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.(1Cor.14:37)

Each person who stands in a pulpit and teaches others should be saying the very same thing. But many cannot show us what they teach is actually found in the bible (sinner's prayer). Creeds and manuals teach their doctrines but they are not found in the bible (Mt.15:9).

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.(1Cor.9:24-27)

When was Abraham justified before God per Paul's teaching? Was it before or after he was circumcised?

When was Cornelius justified before God?

It would be wise for you to ask how those on the day of Pentecost were saved?(Acts 2:36-47).

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

It would be wise for you to ask when was Paul's sins washed away?(Acts 22:16)

16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

These had the faith of Abraham, Moses, Noah and others in the OT. They obeyed the commands of the Lord.(1Cor.14:37)(Heb.5:9)(Act s 10:34,35).

One thing is for sure, the Lord can have no part with man until he has his sins washed away (Isa.59:1,2).

1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Therefore a man cannot be saved by God until his sins are washed away by the blood of the Lamb.(Eph.1:7)(Rev.1:5).

When does (Acts 22:16) say Paul's sins were washed away before or after he was baptized (immersed in water).

Can you find the "sinners prayer" in the NT (after the death of Jesus)?

If not, why tell people they must say the "sinners prayer" to be saved?

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.(1Thess.5:21)

...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.(Rom.14:23)

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.(1John 3:4)

$1000.00 has been offered for the "sinners prayer" after the death of Jesus by Johnny Robertson.

He is the host on "What Does The Bible Say" / "Religious Review" on wgsr47.com .

They have offered this money for over ten years and no one has claimed their reward yet. If I had been one who thought they were saved by saying the "sinners prayer" the information above would worry me.

Doesn't anyone care what the Bible says?

No, the sinners prayer is not found in the NT after the death of Jesus.

We must be very careful about saying the sinners prayer is not found in the bible, b/c the Jews said a sinners prayer under the OT LAW. But under the NT LAW there is not one after the death of Jesus.
