Yes, you're gonna go broke with a 30 cent a month increase. Things aren't free.

There must be something wrong if a utility company can come back after six months and ask for more money. It's not so much the amount they are asking for - it's them feeling that they can come back and ask for more, after all it's only so much. Well, only so much ADDS up. I'm disappointed with Emma.

Hey Steve Ortega, the east side voters voted you into office, not the utility companies!
How about working for us, and protecting us!
WE know where your loyalty lies, and who you protect, so say good bye next election!!!
We are now well aware that you are easily bought off to the highest bidder!

When crooks are in positions of power, they can sanction robbery at their whim.

The last couple of years have seen this 4th poorest of all cities grow even poorer (for ordinary people), while the government crooks and their cronies have raked in the cash.

So if gas goes up 30 cents tomorrow then no big deal right? It's only 30 cents.

It is the utility companies nickel and dimeing us to death that gets people frustrated partner, they have the right to express it.

Your example is out of context. For a product such as gas, 30 cents IS a big deal because we use it, buy it, and need more of it daily. So I agree, 30 cents raise of gas is definitely something to worry about. For the sake of an example, lets assume you fill up your 16 gallon tank once a week. This would mean you're paying about $250 extra per year. Possibly significant for most people.

On the other hand, 0.30 f***** cents a month is not going to cause anyone hardship.

"Nickel and diming us to death..." I doubt that. Yes we all have the right to express our thoughts, as I am expressing mine right now.
