Ben is a pretty good player. Needs to develop and mature into his height and weight, so red shirting wouldn't be a bad thing for this young man in his first year. Had one of the best mid-range jumpers in the conference last season and has an unusual style that allows himself to get to the free throw line whenever he wishes. Needs to be more consistent from behind the three point line and has to develop into a more College Type play maker. He seems like a good fit for a NCAA II School.

Reported stories are saying Ben was waived by the Quincy Basketball Program. All that was discussed on a press release was there was disagreements between the coaching staff and Thomas on if he should red shirt or suit on varsity and also play some JV games. Thomas refused to play JV games and was released by the Hawks according to the local sports report.
