A 15-year old girl is dead, 5 others wounded in separate shootings in Far Rockaway , Queens overnight. via WINS-AM New York

Well, that is what the residents of Far Rockaway want. They don't want a decent neighborhood where their children can walk the street. If they did, they wouldn't tolerate this for a second.

The residents of Far Rockaway do not want that I am sure of that. Everyone wants to be able to walk their children at all times of the night if they knew they were safe. But sadly this is not so, not because of where you live but because of the type of people that live in certain areas. Your from the Bronx, they are plenty of bad things that occur their I'm sure of. But there are plenty of bad things that happens everywhere in this world, and that is not anybody's fault, and it is most definitly not something that anyone wants.

Actually, this system is wrong. I live in Long Island. I work several jobs so that I don't HAVE to live in a gang infested area like Far Rockaway.

You're absolutely right. And as for the person who claims their from Redfern...I've been to Redfern. It's a scary place and if only garbage come from there...it's a Thursday...hop inside of a trash can quickly and quietly! Exactly....I have friends that live probably a 15 minute drive from Red Fern and I don't even want to drive by there at night. I am not scared but I don't want to be one of those innocent bystanders who just happens to be driving near Red Fern at the wrong time.

Society needs to put themselves in others shoes and see what they would do about this situation. Its easy to judge when it isn't your neighborhood.
