Pedestrian critical after Queen Creek hit-run

The pedestrian was taken to a Scottsdale hospital after the collision near Rittenhouse and Cloud roads, said Brandon Jones, a spokesman from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

This is a dangerous intersection and reckless drivers need to be reported, ticketed and charged.
This hit and run driver is a serious threat to our community. I am suspicious that the illegal immigrant community is fearful of reporting this driver because they know the consequences; deportation. So be it.
If this is a usa citizen, then the full power of law should apply to his punishment

The family really needs this person to come forward. Its the right thing to do legal or nonlegal immigrant or citizen. If you are illegal, you know you have done wrong. How would you like someone to do this to your family?? If you are american, then why are you acting like an illegal then?? Im not understanding what is wrong with the human race these days to have no compassion for another's life. Its sickening to think we are raising children in this type of society. This man is young...38...and in critical condition. He has a wife and family that need him. Please turn yourself in...if you wont do it for the family, do it to save your soul from hell.
