<![CDATA[* The Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition has elected three new members to its steering committee: John Broderick has been the executive director of the Regional Affordable Housing Corp. in Bennington since January 2009; Sara Kobylenski has served as the executive director of The Upper Valley Haven in White River Junction since 2009; George Mathias is the chief operating officer of Gilman Housing Trust, Inc. * White and Burke Real Estate Investment Advisors Inc. in Burlington has hired Paul Simon as project manager. Simon will work as part of the team of consultants to executive projects for clients' commercial real estate projects. * Rehabilitation Therapies at Fletcher Allen Health Care has hired Alan Dunn as manager of outpatient therapies. Dunn is an occupational therapist and a former president of the Maine Occupational Therapy Association. * Healthfirst, Inc. elected two new members to its 2012-2013 board of directors: Dr. Seth Frenzen of Associates in Orthopaedic Surgery, and Dr. David Gorson of Bennington. Also elected were board officers: Dr. Cory Halliburton, treasurer; Dr. Christopher Bean, secretary; Dr. Peter Gunther, vice chair; and Dr. Paul Reiss, chairman. * Mary Richards has been named executive vice president of JLT Towner US in Burlington. Megan Davidson was hired as an account manager and Nancy Mutell was named administrative assistant. JLT Towner Group is a captive insurance management and consulting company. * Marc Fragola, a certified financial planner with the Fleischer Jacobs Group, recently attended the 5th annual retirement income symposium in Boston, regarded as the leading event in the Northeast for retirement planning professionals. * Doug Nedde of Redstone represented Catamount/Youkel LLC in obtaining $12.2 million in financing from People's United Bank for the new Riverhouse project in Winooski. Riverhouse is a high-end, LEED certified, 72-unit apartment building located along the Winooski River in downtown Winooski, and is scheduled to open in summer 2013.
