Jon Arnold is an idiot! Look at the history of this company and what happened. So he says why wouldn't I hire them again. Ahh because they could kill someone maybe, or start a fire! How thick do you have to be?

First of all, the media needs to get the facts straight. The 4th of July fireworks were not at the High School. They were at the middle school. And second of all, to the people who got hurt, if you said to yourself, when the fireworks started on the 4th, this seems too close, why did you not get up and move? No one made you sit where you did. The perimeter was well more than efficient for the size shell they used. Accidents happen. You are just looking for someone to blame. Hope your son doesn't play football, because if he gets injured during a game I hope you will see it as an accident. But you probably won't. You will want to blame someone. And finally, if you don't like things in this town, then GET OUT!!!!! You made a choice to move here, we didn't make you. Oh my just like the fireworks you made a choice to sit where you did, no one made you. Stop your complaining and move on, you have your son.

To Property Owner. Maybe you need to get all you info straight before you start posting. Hell, you can't even get the man's name right. Maybe you should start with that first.. Do you live within the Boro? If not, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. If you do, same goes for you, you don't like things here then GET OUT!!!

Jay Armold is a very hard working man and very intelligent, and would do anything for our community.
He has done all the right things. The July 4th incident was an accident!

First of all, why can't the media report on the goods things about the Olde Tyme Community Picnic. I was there all day and saw fellowship amoung members of this community that I have not seen for a long time. We need more days like this in our community. I saw people reconnecting with people they have not seen or talked to for some time. The free entertainment all day was outstanding and included some of the winners from the Palmyra's Got Talent contest who shared their talents with the community. The olde Fashioned kids games that many kids had never played before like three legged races, sack races and water balloon toss. Also adults were playing horse shoes. You could feed your family of 4 for less then $5.00. When was the last time your saw a Kangaroo Court where the Keystone Kops shot people with water guns. This day was not about fireworks, it was a wonderful day for our community to come together honor our past and celebrate our 250th Birthday. The thousands of Palmyra residents that passed through Fireman's park yesterday certainly out numbered the 15 protesters. And the firework show was fantastic and safe. Maybe the media should focus more on the good then the bad!!

Sounds like we need to get an extra shipment of tampons to Palmyra...

Never heard people so fired up over the petty details of a Lebanon Daily News article having incorrect information. You people make it sound like a surprise.

I spelled his name the way it was spelled in the article. So if I spelled it wrong Jon don't get mad at me yell at them. I also stand by what I said he made a poor decision using them again. I never said I didn't like the area. Why don't you learn how to comprehend a paragraph!

And then another accident a few days after that as well! If you took your child to a day care and they accidentally dropped them on their head and injured them would you take them back there? Arnold would! Hey he might be a really hard working guy and really nice. My point is you don"t reward shoddy saftey in our community! If my child was there and got burned like that I would have started a war right then and there. You would have needed more ambulances...

Let's talk about the facts!
Jay did not chose the fireworks company on his own! There was a committee of many residents, legal advice, safety experts and many other people involved in this process. So before you go blaming one person you need to shut up and find out the details first... Many ignorant people say stupid things without doing their research! Check out the other facts also with regards to the fireworks company's safety record!!
So becareful what you say about other people until you are certain of the facts..

Wow you've got some nice manners! My response was not a threat... Just because you read something in the newspaper does not make it fact. You obviously need further education! Your name calling of Mr. Armold shows your immaturity and ignorance, grow up you're nor in middle school or are you? Yes it was an unfortunate ACCIDENT and I am sorry someone got hurt. But that does nor give you or anyone else right to call other people names or ruin their name. This whole Palmyra thing is NOT a dictatorship and all decisions are agreed upon by many other people in the community. Your comment about beating me up shows your lack of education, plus you can not spell Sheetz correctly!

I believe you told me to shut up and also called me ignorant. I would say you were using some pretty harsh words to me pal. Also what is a nor? Maybe you should go back to school yourself. Oh and the threat of beating you up was not really a threat it's a promise. You wouldn't have the cahonies to show .

You guys all sound like the regular old Palmyratuckyians. Bunch of hicks pulling for someone that is not being safe! What if that was your child that got hurt? What if someone would have been killed? Would you make fun of that family then? Would you still put them down for wanting to protect themselves? You probably would because all you hicks think your so much better than everyone else. Keep sticking together.

You're barking up the wrong tree pal. Not to mention you're making a fool out of yourself. Be careful about the threats. The attorney for the company that set off the fireworks can use these posts against you.

Ya know property owner, your sheetz statement can be considered a terroristic threat under commonwealth law,and a few other charges.
everyone has a right to protest, but at least have some class. do it at a council meeting,in town square. Plus if you do not like the boro or its decisions move! There is no gun to your head to stay! The last fireworks were done with extreme safety procedures. Even that far away look at all the protection, safetywise, musta been 9 fire departments there for fire, and medical needs.
So in conclusion,if you do not like thier choices DO NOT ATTEND.
