To make light of the fact that Rachel has alleged that she was a victim of child molestation is cruel. Any child that has been violated by their parent is forced to deal with some difficult things and then for people to minimize it. Many of the people on this forum have been very vocal about Micheal Nelson and the allegations against him but then choose to treat Rachel as if she were responsible. She was a VICTIM, she may have made some mistakes in judgement but haven't we all, and basically she is still a kid who has done the very best that she can considering the environment that she was raised in. I have always been treated well by her and her sister at sonic and I ask that you all cut her some slack.

I did not mean for it to sound as though your sister made allegations against Michael Nelson, I was trying to say that people have been very quick to claim that there was no abuse in your family and then are saying that the former police officer should be taken out quickly. All abusers should be prosecuted and punished for othe harm that they have caused another. And the pain of abuse does not go away quickly and has long lasting impacts on the victims. It angers me when the victim is blamed when something happens to them. please know that I think a lot of you and your sister and I would not have tried to hurt her, I thought I was defending her. I am sorry also for the name confusion I was unaware that there are two rachel Davis but I thank you for pointing that out in and in the future I will pay attention to the spelling of the name. Please accept my heartfelt apologies for I meant no harm. I do not think that I am high and mighty and again I was angry that there seems to be an unfair double standard that if the sexual contact is from a family member, lets not discuss it and blame the innocent but when it is from a stranger or an aquaintance it is given more credability.

Rachel Davis, the one recently arrested for possession of meth, cannot blame any of her past for her actions. She decided to srop out of school at 15 and get married and amancipated. She decided to get behind the wheel of a vehicle and recieve TWO DWI's while living in New Mexico. She decided to start picking up the pipe when she moved to Quanah and then decided to move to the needle. She is to blame for he own actions of what she does. Some call it bad luck, I call it Karma.
