Carol Lively will be the new CEO which stands for can't even operate. LOL! She should master director of nurses b4 she tries to run the whole ship. Only in Quanah. There r several locals that qualify for the job but this is just the way things r done around here. They have themselves a puppet for sure.

Cut her break hmmm she don't need a break when she have moved to the top knowing that she don't have a major degree. That's the facts but who knows she might can but just not right how you moved up so fast hmmmm.
how do you know?

Perhaps Carol is only operating as CEO in an interium capacity. I would think that who is given the position would have to be approved of by the entire board and not appointed by the current administrator. In health care there are many new programs and guidelines that have to be followed, Carol may be very qualiied but my concern is that they are expecting too much from her with doing the DON and CEO job.

Well wait and see. Well welcome to Quanah they can do whatever we want and for the board what goes around comes around. And well see if carol can handle both position because I didn't think handle the DON and second need get her bachelor degree first before she does anything else and pass the TEST. WISH HER WELL

Ya'll really need to call the EEOC. If they are receiving ANY federal money they have to post jobs and open them up for interviews.

The new girl won't be there for long. Betts couldn't run central supply much less anything else. Many board members are about to fly the coop. The place closes within the year. End of hospital as we know it.

There is not a single person employed at that place who is qualified to be the administrator. Tracy Betts, what a joke, isn't she involved in the financial department of that place? Oh wait, they are broke because of financial mismanagement. It's time that we the residents demand something better. The hospital needs a leader with no ties to anyone here, with experience running a successful hospital, but why the hell would they want to move here, we don't even have safe running water and flush toilets. I still say it'll be closed within a year!

Finally! Someone who writes with a bit of wisdom on this blog! Tracy Betts is probly the most to blame for the hospital's financial state. She is a big mouthed hippocrit who has threatened people and lied her way to her position. She has no education for her job, or the administrator position. If she was such a grand administrator, she would still be wearing the title. But since she is a lifetime resident of Quanah she'll probly always have a job at the hospital. Small town politics, so sad.

She may very well be a great person but we have had so many "great persons" that have gotten us into this horrendous mess that we r scared of the good ole boy/girl hiring practices. It is incredibly hard for me to cut any more "breaks" because they have cost us a fortune that we will probably b paying for the rest of our lives (if we continue to live here). Just sayin!

Water problems, crappy roads, 5 million cats, trash in yards, abandoned houses, and a sheriff that can't even buy the right size hat. Yep. Keep voting like you have.

Why Deborah Brownlow? Yes, she is a resident of Quanah (born and raised), but all of you know from her posts on Topix that she says what she thinks. She is very smart and could handle this job. Plus, she won't lie, cheat, or steal. She will won't let the board or anyone else push her around, which is Exactly what this hospital needs. There are a lot of good people that work up there and need the guidance of someone like her.

Nail reared his ugly head in Quanah today. How come he is let back in with so much wrongdoing? Two board members deposited checks Nail gave to them. Nail payed people off. Lively thinks she will be the administrator. She has been mislead. So sad. Kiss this hospital goodbye as no one can comeback with over four million in loans.
