Someone save this poor young woman from a future of staving off embarassment and pointless controversy. Certainly even working for a window manufacturer would provide sufficient stimulation away fom this clown.

Someone needs to remind Angry Al he is not our Senator. He can say he is and appoint all the people he wants, it doesn't change the fact that he hasn't stolen the election yet and if Coleman and the higher courts have anything to say, he won't.

I hardly call Coleman making a fool of himself when the Election is being hijacked you fool. You damm dumb democrats love this kind of unethical, underhanded methodology. Franken can hire who he want - it will not matter - as soon as this goes to then Supreme Court. As well I would rather pay for this than a damm wasteful "Stimulus Package."

Liberalism is a mental disturbance.

Senator Franken should continue his search for gifted people to serve on his staff. Former Senator Coleman will continue investing republican money to buy an election. Unfortunately, the court will be bogged down with this mess at a time when there are so many serious matters needing attention.
Democrats of Ohio and Florida will attest to the fact that republicans manipulated elections in their states by improper allocation of voting equipment that caused long waiting periods in democratic areas and short waiting periods in republican areas. It would be unfortunate for the state of Minnesota and the nation if the republicans are able to manipulate the outcome of this election which Al Franken won by 312 votes.

Lose the republican sponsered fear or stick your head back in the sand and scream for mommy! Try reading non-fiction. Better yet, turn on American idol. It's more educational than listening to Limbaugh.

You are the second person I've encountered online this week who doesn't seem to understand the definition of liberal or liberalism.
The term "liberal" merely encompasses any political philosophy that leans toward the non-regulation of something. Many political theories promoted by Republicans are very liberal in nature. Free trade, the right to own guns without restrictions, the right to let the market correct itself without government instrusion - these are just a few examples of liberal ideology in practice, and ones frequently promoted by Republicans. If you don't believe me, feel free to educate yourself:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism
If you truly believe that liberalism is a "mental disturbance," it would appear that you don't believe in many of the individual rights granted in our Constitution. Perhaps you prefer communism instead?

Franken has no legal authority to hire anyone at this point - the correct message here is that Franken issued a press release stating he wishes he could hire someone...

You still can't get over Algore not being able to steal the Presidential election can you. You must still be crying over Kerry losing by even more when his getting elected was supposed to be a slam dunk, not unlike the predictions for Angry Al.

Chew on this for awhile, if it hadn't been for Dean Barkley drawing votes away from Coleman, Angry Al would be back writing rape jokes in New York right now instead of pretending to be Senator and delaying Coleman taking his rightfully elected spot back in the Senate.
