Looks like Panera may be on the way. The construction trade papers (bidding information) shows that Panera is looking for general contractor bids for a location on North West End Boulevard...thats all the info that is listed. Also, in the same paper, it shows that yesterday was the bid closing date for a Ross Store #1506, 23000 square feet, one story renovation in Quakertown.

Inquiring minds want to know, I'm sure.

Both will be a good addition. Ross is a good store, kind of like Marshall's. I'm a fan of Panera, can't wait til they get here.

i really hope that olive garden is not going where harris bros. was; that's going to make traffic insufferable at the station road/309 intersection.

Alot of folks take to placing blame on walmart for the death of their "main street" stores.

But what about these chain restaurants?

Imagine how profitable a local mom and pop restaurant could be if they didnt have to face competition from these chains?
Imagine the "positive" affect it would have on downtown qtown?

Yea, and your point?

Salads that are high in sodium and fat due to the dressings and seasonings....
read their nutritional fact sheets...they are posted online I believe.

And what the heck does my smoking have to do with a chain rests?

Argue apples to apples...

now if u knocked on me because I busted on cigar smokers...yea that would be a fair argument..

<quoted text>I know, it's starting to all day all this train does is cross the street back and forth like 10 times in a row honking that extremely loud horn. Why does the horn have to be so loud and done multiple times.
So tell us, whats the train hauling today? Coal, Lumber?

Youd love it up north here...theres lots of train tracks...loaded with coal cars...
all making their way to the harbors..where the coal will be shipped over to China, and India...
