Watch out for Wells Fargo

what the heck

Wells Fargo bank has become worse than a used car lot or time share hard sale three day weekend. Every time I walk into the place the are on me worse than a pack of wolves. They are always looking to sell me something. I was given accounts that I really didn't ask for and didn't need. Sent me a credit card I didn't want. Watch out they are all about selling you something. Go to a local bank that still believes in service.

Have had the same experiences with Natonal Penn, QNB and Citizens over the past 15+ years. It is the Teller's job as well other Customer Service Reps to sell and cross sell. They have monthly quotas to meet.

I have never had that experience at QNB, they always just do what I need, pleasant and no pressure. I never received anything I didn't ask for.

I've never dealt with National Penn, so I can't comment on them. I get sales phone calls from Citizens once in a while, but no high pressure. I've been a customer of QNB for decades and deal with them all the time. I've NEVER had one problem with QNB.

You don't have this with local banks, with the exception of Univest, but all they do is remind customers they have financial services and insurance.

Otherwise, QNB, Univest, and First Savings are all good, local banks.

The national banks, Wells Fargo, Citizens, and TD all suck.

And TD Bank isn't even based in the U.S. Their full name is Toronto-Dominion Bank. In Canada they operate as TD Canada Trust, but in the U.S. they just call it TD Bank so people don't know they're from Canada.
