Pepper and Blue. Just so that you know "Fussy", be prepared to pay a fortune!! They have to pay back the money they spent making that place top notch in decor, serve wine, and other unnecessary "perks".
Decide if you'd like your hair done at an affordable and..... normal price, or if you need to feel faux pampered.
If you want to be pampered, I suggest you head into the area of Lahaska and Buckingham. TRUE pampering conducive to the area.
To be charged the rates at Pepper and Blue at a hair salon in the Quakertown vicinity is laughable.

I don't know, of course, what services you get done to your hair, but poker straight and long is how you've described it. I am positive that you are able to find another salon who can make you happy without exhorbitant prices.

And btw, no I'm not a disgruntled ex customer. I've not used their services BECAUSE although I'm worthy of professional services for my hair, nails, body...... which I do have done regularly...... more money is not always more.

Good luck to you!

Wow- There are plenty of people in the Quakertown area willing to pay for pampering without driving nearly and hour to Lahaska or Buckingham. It's nice that there are more than the chain places at which to have your hair done.

Just as there are enough other quality hair salons in the Quakertown area, which have quality stylists, yet do not commit highway robbery.

Chain salons are another story. You definitely do not receive the quality stylists that you do at privately owned salons.

I was only giving a heads up to Fussy. It is uncomfortable to walk into a service place and for some, find that the unreasonable and unrealistic prices are more than their budget allows.
There are overhead costs and salaries to pay. I am not naive. However, I happen to know the markup percentage of supplies and of hair products sold and it's called pure greed when charged prices that are absolutely not justified.
Pepper and Blue is located in Richland Twp, JUST outside of Quakertown, not NYC.

Pepper and Blue is fabulous, however, it may take a while to get an appointment with certain stylists. I get a cut (more of a trim), color or highlights and paid anywhere from $80 to $130. After hearing what a friend pays in Doyelstown, I think the prices at P and B are quite reasonable. I believe you get what you pay for!

You have that right that's the going price from most of the towns salons , But Pepper and Blue has true artists in this field . There's a little dump on main st , Another at broad and main , Who charge the same but the cuts are a no where near what Pepper and Blue have .

. Which stylist would you recommend for me? I have wavy hair that gets frizzy when it's humid. It's long and almost one length now. I haven't had it cut in a long time. Just trimmed.
