I have not been in Sine's 5 & 10 for awhile and I visited it recently and everytime I walk in there I feel like I am back in my good old days.I walked back to the back of the store and they still have little knick knack's there. It's ashame though they should put more things out to sell in the store like the different candies, more toys, models, knick knacks, holiday items and similar things like they used to sell.I think they would get more business.
Don't get me wrong I love seeing the store and hope it stays open for a long time.Just think it would help their business. Also would be neat to see displayed in there old candy molds in the candy section, just an idea!

Do any of you remember when they used to have the carnival in the shopping center? They also used to shoot the 4th of July fireworks off from near there too.
I do it was a great little town at that time. Even the Elephant rides. You won't find carnivals like that anymore.

This is so much fun!!! What a blast. Remember Dr.Shrivel, every
Tuesday (he was a dentist) he would work on his patients outside
and passer byer's could watch as he worked on patients. My mom
held my little precious hand as we watched together people having
there teeth yanked out. Oh this brings back so many memories.
Boy, this is fun!!! Oh, to live my younger years again.
I used to work at Ken's Chicken Den! Does anyone remember Red's Toy Store in the Q-town Plaza? I got all my barbie clothing there!

I have a question. How many places was the Corner House at and name them.Because I thought at 1 time they were out on the road off of Axehandle Road heading toward Haycock.I can't remember that road is it Thatcher Road on the bend.I remember going there for school clothing.I know it was downtown next to the old Free press building and Rt 663.Where was it before that

I thought the corner house was located near or on New street.
They then moved it out to the 663.

Anyone recall te circus that use to come to the qmart lot? It came to an end a few yrs later after a stabbing-lovers quarrel between 3 of the carny people.

How about the old quarry hole that was directly to the west end of the mart. There use to be(is it still there) a chain link fence around it.
Prior to the hole being used as a dumping grounds for all sorts of stuff, tires, stoves, shingles, metal drums with gawd knows what inside..the place was a great place to fish.
I heard that there are a few old cars dumped down there too. Must have been a big hole at onetime.

Yeah, I remember Corner House on Hellertown Avenue near New Street, before they moved out to 663.
