Quakertown has a limited amount of stores. You would think that they would treat people with respect. God forbid you have any issues and go to customer service. Some of the people there are not very friendly. You can never find someone to help you when you need it and they make you feel like your a bother. The store is never kept clean. Thank god new stores are slowly moving in like Target. I would rather drive to the mall then shop here anymore!

And by the way, I think Kohl's is great. They will honor a discount even if I don't have my discount with me. I have never had a problem with any of their employees.

Complaining here does nothing. Write a letter to corporate. They WILL respond with the economy in the state it is in.

im sure that the OP is some woman who bought something that was broken and then yelled at the manager when she went into the store.

it doesnt sound like she gave them the time of day. as her time is way more important than anyone elses. lol.

as for their employees. i think they are great. one of thier cashiers is one of the nicest people i have ever met. always very helpful, always with a smile.

And as far as 'Fantasia' saying that the store is a mess, I was there last night and I could not believe how 'tidy' the store was considering how close to xmas we are. My neighbor also went last night and she also commented on how straightened up the place was. But I will say this....all of the Kohl's that I have been in between PA and NJ, all have issues keeping their store's neat. A friend of mine is an ex-employee and she said that they are trained to keep the racks within eyesight of the main isles clean. Otherwise, the stuff in the back can wait until they are not busy.
i like kohls

Umm you do realize its christmas time? You know how many a$$hole customers come in and trash the place? The clothing section looks like my bedroom with clothes thrown all over. Thousands of people come in during the week its gonna be messy. Plus if you were getting paid $8 an hour would you really care? I mean i would care but to a point of 8 dollars worth lol

Are you the woman that tried to return her used underwear last weekend, and then caused a big scene?

My wife and daughter were in the store and said the woman was out of control, possibly high on drugs.

I have to agree the Kohl's has been very good to it's customers. I was also there last nite and the do keep the place nice. They will give you the discount even if you don't have your coupon card with you. How many stores do that?

Happy Holidays!

Working retail at Christmas is hard. People wait to the last minute to find a must have item.
You work long hours and most shoppers are stressed and are not very plesant. You probably got the wrath of pain in the butt people all day long. Not that that is a reason to give poor service.
I am so glad I don't do it anymore.

Personally I like Kohls

You know how they advertise "hassle free returns?" NOT at this store! It's like you're in front of the grand inquisitor if you return something the way they told you to, and give you crap when you bring it to customer service. We called before we came in and got clearance to return items that we had used, but didn't live up to our expectations. It's not only the manager but also some of the hags behind the counter too. They tell you one thing over the phone and something completely different when you get in the store.

This sure isn't Sears with their age old slogan: Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back.

We refuse to go to this store now. We go to Ralph's Corner in Lansdale instead.

Kohls rips you off anyway with the overpriced merchandise. You ever notice that they have a sale almost every other day and send you coupons in the mail like crazy? Because they are overpriced.

I bought an electric razor in their for $70 turns out Walmart had the same one for $40. I used it already so I didn't return it.

I agree with the OP, Jen and Talking about DUMB. The manager is VERY unprofessional and rude. He talks down to everyone and treat people like dirt!!! I will definitely be writing in to their corporate office. I was just in the store last night and it was an eyesore. Clothes were thrown all over the place and it was impossible to try and find what I needed. The cashiers weren't very friendly either. I don't see myself shopping there anymore unless they have something I can't find elsewhere. Bottom line is Kohls is horrible!!!!

I shop at the kohls in quakertown all the time i never had a problem cashiers are always friendly. For the comments about the store being a mess sometimes its because customers throw things all over the place its like cleaning up after kids all day i worked retail for 8 years so i know.Customers can be very rude sometimes also if they dont get there way they act like children sometimes people who work retail are not always in the best of moods thats because customers think they can talk to you like trash and expect you to have a smile on your face so to those of you who worked retail understand and those who never had give it a try then let us know how happy you are at the end of the day dealing with a couple rude customers who made you feel like nothing because they were having a bad day.
