BHO only lies to the American people when his lips are moving, as this video proves. But the media is more concerned with Marco Rubio taking a drink of water on camera.

Rachel Madcow did a whole schtick on it last night. So what?

If only social media and the 24/7 news cycle was around 30 years ago when Tip(sy) O'Neill was Speaker.

That wouldn't have been water in that bottle!

A short but worthwhile take on Marco Rubio's rebuttal last night:(it is satire)

Rich White People Get Latino Guy To Do Some Work For Them

WASHINGTON—Faced with a menial and unappealing task they had no desire to perform themselves, a group of wealthy white people brought in a Latino man to complete the thankless labor for them Tuesday, sources confirmed.“This opportunity—to make it to the middle class or beyond no matter where you start out in life—it isn’t bestowed on us from Washington,” said the Hispanic guy, who was given explicit instructions and was warned by the privileged, affluent Caucasians to make sure he completed the unrewarding chore to their exact specifications.“It comes from a vibrant free economy where people can risk their own money to open a business. More government isn’t going to create new opportunities. It’s going to limit them.” Following the completion of his tedious labor, the man was reportedly asked if he had any Latino friends who might also be willing to take on some work for the white millionaires for modest compensation.

I understand the deficit is your number one issue, but most polls show that Americans are far more concerned about jobs and the economy. I continue to believe that we must first tackle massive unemployment and underemployment. Once more Americans have buying power it will in turn create more tax revenue and help create more jobs. It simply doesn't make sense to cut social programs when so many Americans are suffering and depend upon those programs. More spending will lead to economic growth.

I agree that most Americans are more concerned about the economy, but what good does Obama lying about the cost of his "investments" do? More spending does NOT necessarily lead to economic growth. Unemployment is STILL higher than it was when Obama took office four years ago and we've spent $6 TRILLION dollars more than we took in since then. The improvements to the economy are coming in spite of Obama's programs, not because of the money that was wasted on ineffective "stimulus" and "green energy" programs.

If politicians were serious (Republicans and Democrats), taking a scalpel to spending would save worthwhile social programs before they become unsustainable. But Washington's idea of cutting spending is only reducing the rate of planned spending increases. They won't even pass a budget.

I don't rely on anything coming out of Washington. But Obama's fibs on Obamacare, cutting the deficit in half, etc., make GWB's spending binges look miserly in comparison.

Senator Obama 2006

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.… Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

Good one, not to mention it was a contrived war made up by Chaney to help his buddies make money at the expense of American lives and made Bush look like an idiot.

The wars Bush got us into are responsible for over half of our national debt.

Then why did Obama promise to cut the deficit in half in his first term and proceed to add a trillion dollars every year since to the deficit? Get over the "blame Bush for everything" mental illness already and wake up. You're being played and lied to and it's time for robots like you to wise up.
