Is it true that Hundreds of homes had no power because because a tree hugger would not allow PPL to cut the tree down that was down at the circle. The tree hugger said it was a historic tree? Heard the tree hugger went to court to stop anyone to cutting the tree. Also heard someone sued the tree hugger so power could be restore to us along station road. I guess the tree hugger lost we got power but in 5 days.

The trees and the enviornment will be here long after any of us! Put your effort into more useful things like helping sick children or the elderly.

Perhaps the folks in the neighborhood should find the tree hugger. I think it would be much more satisfying.

If this is true, you have got to be kidding....what was there possibly to "save" in a tree that had already fallen down. Hope it was worth it to them for the accidents at the intersections of 309 and the people who went without lights, heat and water all over the township. Absurd.

none of the above is true. the reason the tree was not taken down sooner is becuase of the power that feeds the wires the tree was on would have had to shut off . with this happening like people found out yesteray when they did shut the power off o make it safe for workers alot of people lost there power while the repair was made. just remeber the voltage that runs thru those lines is 480 volts . if a worker would have touched one of those wires he or she would have been killed . the guy on corner maybe a tree hugger but he had no say about the tree. once it's on wires it is either ppl or verizon they make the chocie to what getts done.

It really is funny how an idiot like you would put your picture on the web like you did. And knowing you live near and around the q-town you may die soon under a train.
