Just moved here Friday from Philly,
Enjoying trying new places in the area. I have been to a place Called Mccooles three times. The food was excellent. A brunette attractive bartender had great customer service and was attentive. I’d definitely go back again.
There was a odd short blonde haired man, I think the owners husband. He is a bit overwhelming in educating Quakertown history and asking you to come back again. Other than that very pleased overall. Any other suggestions on where to eat in this Quakertown area? Thank you for suggestions.

Becker’s is good for pub food
Down to earth cafe is good for breakfast (in Perkasie)
A fancier pub is the Jamison Publik house.
If you’re from philly and hankering for Primos, there is one in harleysville other wise there is a decent Italian hoagie joint in coopersburg on 309 near the Burger King.
Pizza around here is ehh, but Dominick’s is my choice.
Chinese is another eh, but “best food” is decent as is eastern dragon.
Very good Tai at the white orchid in center valley.
Top cut is also a great steak house also in center valley.
Fiesta habanero in qtown makes decent American style Mexican.

Other than that, Yelp is another great place to check.

You were lucky that man took the time to share our rich history here in Quakertown. If you check things out, you will find you moved to a amazing town ! Take some time to stop by the barn down from McCoole's, It's the Historical Society & Chamber of Commerce. Maybe take a tour of Burgess Foulke house & see how people lived before electronics in their faces all the time.

Spinnerstown has great food and an amazing rotating beer selection. I prefer their bar area as opposed to the dining room as it's more casual. The Pub next to Giant is always consistent and their kitchen is open late which is nice. They have cheesesteak night on Tuesdays for around $3 and their bartenders are really great. Check out Captain Bob's on 309 if you like seafood. They have a seafood counter on the left if you feel like cooking and a restaurant on the right serving fried seafood if you don't. The Wagon Wheel has the best wings and onion rings around. The Karlton is a great breakfast location. I recommend their potato pancakes. The best brewery is definitely Free Will in Perkasie, which is one town over. They have excellent food trucks on the weekends. Maize in Perkasie is also great. It's a small byob restaurant. It's more expensive but the food is definitely elevated and unique. Check out Easton (about a 30 min drive) for its public market which has amazing food. It's a little pricey but well worth it.
