Once again another fatal accident on 309 between Cherry Rd and Pumping Station does anyone know what happened?

No, but I must have driven through there seconds before it happened. I was sitting at the next light when a few ambulances came through.

Clearly, the intersection must be changed. I've never seen so many accidents. It's even worse than Tollgate and 309 before they made left turning more restrictive.

I'm not familiar with where Cherry Rd is - Pumping Station is the light where Target is right? That intersection seems like a prime place for accidents. I agree that Tollgate and 309 is much better since they put the turn lanes in. I don't think I've seen a really bad accident there since they fixed it.

Cherry Road is the light between Highway Marina and Bubba's restaurant. It's where the Richland Fire Company sign in Shelly is located.

This intersection reminds me of the 309/Passer Road light at the Peppercorn Pub north of Coopersburg as far as the rate of bad accidents go.

I was at the scene. it was in front of Country Junction. Couldn't tell what happened from the wreckage but assume one of the cars was pulling out of Country Junction... A lot of people stopped to help. Many people tried to save the poor guy who died. Pulling out of that store is a nightmare.

You should not be allowed to make a left turn out of country junction at all, or any of those stores as a matter of fact. I know your not allowed at Tractor Supply, yet I see people do it all the time. Its just not worth it.

From reading the article it sounds like they may have been turning in to Country Junction. The man and woman who did CPR until the ambulance arrived did a fantastic job. I'm sure they are both traumatized by the experience. They did all they could.

Not to disagree with you but I drive that road every day. It is a bad place to pull out of or into, even if you aren't playing with your gadgets...
