I didn't see anything in the Morning Call this morning, and there's nothing on their web site. I subscribe to www.lehighvalleytraffic.com They send out a lot of emails, but nothing about that.

According to this morning's Morning Call, some woman hit a pole.

"Bethlehem driver hits pole, shutting Route 309 for hours
January 23, 2010 Springfield Township

A 64-year-old driver was hospitalized after she hit a utility pole and billboard in Springfield Township on Thursday, police said.

Frances Kaufman of Bingen Road, Bethlehem, was driving south on Route 309 near Clay Avenue at 3:39 p.m. when her car left the road, shearing a utility pole and crashing into the billboard, police said. She was pulled out of her car and taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, police said. The hospital had no information on her condition.

Utility wires were knocked across Route 309, backing up traffic for several hours.

Springfield Township police were assisted by the Richland Township police and fire departments and the Coopersburg fire department.

No charges will be filed, police said."
