Does anyone know what is going on with the house on Red Barn Lane that had the fire? I see workers there every so often. It is a mess and the dumpster is an eye sore. I feel bad for the families that live on both sides. Is there something we can do to make them fix it?

From my understand a company purchased the home from the bank and is making repairs to the house and will re-sell the house when complete. The homeowner was charged with arson and related offenses. I believe insurance companies do not honor their policy holder if there is a case of arson! Hope that helps!

You can complain to the township. They probably had to get a building permit. How long have they been working on it?

So it was arson? What a shame. They have been working on and off since May. How did you find out it was sold. I know some of the neighbors will be glad that family is not returning.

"On April 16, 2010, after a thorough investigation, RTPD charged Brian Bonekemper, age 37, of the 1100 block of Red Barn Lane, Richland Twp., with arson and related offenses stemming from a fire at his residence on March 27, 2010."

The article did not mention the sale of the house. Did you see anything about that? I am getting fed up with the dumpster. Thinking of calling the township tomorrow and complaining.

There is no time limit on the repair. The contractor can work at his own pace. Suck it up. At least something is being done.

It would be fine if the company was working on the house. No one is working and the dumpster is overflowing. Things blow out, there is nails and glass everywhere. I have "sucked it up". Not really sure why you had to add a nasty comment to a civil discussion.

I heard they moved to Easton in a condo unit. I feel sorry for the people that live around them. Now they live in fear for what these people have done in Q-town on Farm Lane.

This guy is the son of the guy who works with the Blazers baseball team. He, the son apparently hated his new wife very much.

Excuse me, I was under the impression that arson was a felony offense. Is he still with the wife ( he so loved)?

Isn't there jail time here WTF

there is jail time, but he must be convicted first. Let's hope that happens. From what I know he was no stranger to the richland town police.

If the guy in Easton is the same one from here, hopefully the word's been thoroughly spread to EVERYONE in your neighborhood what he did in WBF. The guy's is a public safety menace and if he's moved into a condo then the risk is even higher (due to it being higher density) then what took place on Red Barn. Keep an eye on him!

Glad he's out of our area, soory he moved to yours. What a piece of crap.

The neighbor next to him has been called to court on 9/27 for a trial. It's nuts that this jerk is free to walk around. I hope people in Easton know who he is. I saw them from across the street in the weeks following the fire and the wife was with him.

Btw still no work being done on the house. What a mess for that poor family next door I see them picking glass and nails up from the lawn all the time.
