So what's your point ?
The teacher and administrators of our school district make more than that and are not in police cars stopping drunk drivers and such. so what is your point ?
lets see I guess your gonna start bashing on the cops, forget it . If you want to bash anyone then start at school district and ask them to explain where your tax dollars go.and let them justify why our kids are the way they are .There are children out there that can't even read, spell or do simple math. Please!!!!!!!what we are paying these teachers is almost obscene, and the kids are coming home stupid, also the police don't work for 9 months get 3 months off and the during the school year every month there is a day or to off for """ continuing education""" " please don't bash the police there job is hard enough.

Right...3 months off after 9 months of work. Of course the school hours are only 8 hours long, and no teacher has after school conferences, PTO meetings, or hours of work at home grading papers, preparing class materials, buying their own schoolroom supplies at Staples, etc...what a glamorous job! It even includes getting ignored by the kids you are trying to help, and getting bashed by parents and the rest of the public at every turn, especially in the vast ignorance and intolerant world of the internet.

Let's take some money away from the teachers. That will certainly help the situation.

What i pay in school tax alone should finance the entire districts stationary supply needs. That's total b/s

really I had a 2 page list of supplies we had to buy to supply the classroom. I though my tax dollars would have taken care of that.
